Now that Boomerang aired all 17 "Blue Racer" shorts, I'm curious (as a DePatie-Freleng fan), on what you thought.

Considering that Boomerang was the first television network to air "Blue Racer" (it was originally a theatrical series, and was briefly syndicated to local stations after DFE shut down), I'm curious if it should have been locked up in the vault for all these years. Your favorite short? Your least favorite?

I don't know about favorites, but maybe the ones by Art Davis were the best.

My least favorite has to be "Little Boa Peep". As the comic-book guy says, "Worst...Episode...Ever". Although the ending was appropriate, since that was the last BR cartoon ever.

I think the series could have been better, as I really didn't think much of "the Blue Racer" cartoons at all.Of course much of the other DePatie/Freleng cartoons are classic masterpieces compared to the Blue Racer.

From a scale of one to ten, i'd give the Blue Racer shorts a "5".

It was ok. At least, they aired something new on Boomerang whch is always a plus. Although, I couldn't stand that Japanese Beetle. He was annoying.

Just curious. Anyone have title-card and credits for "Wham and Eggs"?
