A Pup Named Scooby-Doo, Tom & Jerry Kids, and Baby Looney Tunes all air on Boomerang everyday TWICE. Could somebody tell me whether this is supposed to be some preschool block, or just because their based on old shows? Cuz in the afternoon, that's when most prescholers are watching, but in the evening they show all the "kid" versions next to the older shows (Scooby-Doo, Where Are You? Tom & Jerry, Looney Tunes) that they are based on.

Would guess just because A) they're old shows (from the 80's), and B) they go along with their "adult" show versions. At least for all except Baby Looney Tunes---suspect BLT airing on Boomerang is more out of money-grubbing or boneheaded marketing decisions on Time-Warner's part (apparently airing "Duck Dodgers", a show somewhat more faithful to the original LT characters in some manner, wasn't an option if they had to air a modern [post-mid-90's] show at *all*). Or a trial balloon for testing if a preschool block would work at all (though guess this hasn't come to pass)...

On that same note, CN is introducing its "Preschool Block" beginning sometime in the first week of August. (I don't remember the exact day). From 9-11, they will feature a preschooler program, not unlike Nick Jr. and Playhouse Disney. Maybe they dumped the preschool Boomerang idea and decided to shift it to regular CN...

They are now airing rather long back to back spots for "Tickle U" almost every half hour on Boomerang. It's beyond irritating. That Japanese show with the Monkeys :o. I honestly thought they couldn't get worse than some of the Teen Titans and Krypto spots, well I was wrong.

Oh, Brother!! It's bad enough they're airing 'Baby Looney Tunes' on BOOMERANG! (is that show OLD enough to even be considered for that channel?!) But now they're airing an Japanese cartoon that we've never heard of there? Is Boomerang starting to become ANOTHER Cartoon Network? (that's a frightening thought if it is!)

The show isn't actually airing on Boomerang just extended spots for it. It's actually just one monkey with a bird and some other thing I'm not realy sure what the hell it's suppose to be. The show looks like it's just be a bunch of random laughing.
