You buy that Lexus, tossed on some chrome 17's, strobe lights, intake, dual exhaust pipes, tinted windows, body art, etc yadda yadda...

You buy this Civic for sale, spray them tints in the windows, replace the air filter with an intake- quickly you got yo' self a street racer.

Anyhow, how much is your car worth? I know everyone here put some kinda work into the car to better it's life. :p

About ten bucks. No really. My car is falling apart. It was made in 1990 and is a toyota camry. the air conditioner does not work. YOu have to close the trunk a special way for it to close. The bumper is pealing. I only have three working seat belts. Theres a crack in the radiator that I scealed with JB Weald until my mom finally has the money to trade it in for something else. There's still dog hair everywhere and my hubcaps are cheap 20 dollar plastic things that my cheap step dad bought me a few years ago and I lost one. So yeah I'll be getting my moms car soon, can't wait for that.

My Camry is a 93(it was made in 92) and the only thing wrong with it is that the CD player stopped working...and the only major accident I've been in was during an ice storm that smashed the left front side when I skidded off the road(it still was driveable though).

Then again my skills were honned on the most confusing and dangerious highway, Route 17...

You eventualy get a 6th sense to detect when the semi trucks are going to cross lanes and the other drivers won't allow you to pass so you can get out of the way...

everybody always has to be in a rush...

I had a step father who drove it incesantly even though he had his own car. He said it was good to drive my car around like he did, I think he lied to me. he ruined that poor thing. Also all three times it was rearended, he was in it. Plus its got 200,000 miles so that can make any car go bad.

Damn, You need to be on Pimp My Ride.
you know everytime I watch that show I always say to myself. "I bet my car could get on that show."

I've a 1995 Honda Civic - and apparently the going rate for these li'l babies in good condition is $5000 (Cdn) - and apparently they can sell for as high as $10,000 at dealerships, second hand.

Either way, I anticipate having my econo-box for a while. I don't need anything else, really.

Wow, what I wouldn't do for an '85 Honda Civic, gray *dreams* Anyway, my car is a '97 Nissan Altima and I got it for $500!! Beat that price:anime:. It needed a new transmission, some kind of casing, and tires--but man, was it worth it. I still can't believe I have a car that was once worth five hundred dollars...heh, it's probably only worth like 3/4,000 now!

Transmission is costly, sugar.

Yeah, it's the life of the vehicle. My dad manages a dealership, though (hah, which explains why the car was cheap!) thus we got a transmission for virtually nada.

Bought the car for $500, probably paid another 5 or 6 to get it going. Oh well, it's the surface thought that drives (^^ pun).

Anyhow, how much is your car worth? I know everyone here put some kinda work into the car to better it's life. :pMitsubishi Evo > Honda Civic

unmodified Evo can keep up with a Lambrogini

it's also the same price range as the civic IIRC...
