Bullwinkle Season 3

If like me you were watching SCTV on TV Land last Friday you saw a commercial for the third season, the first prime time season, of Rocky & Bullwinkle. It was from Time-Life, who claimed to have an exclusive on this DVD set. It was the usual 'not available in stores, you can only get it here' thing. For the time being, that's true as according to Amazon it won't be available until September 6.

Odd, though, that it would be a Time-Warner company with the temporary exclusive, as Sony Wonder did the previous season. I wonder if Warner Home Video now has the rights.

The DVD set that's coming to stores in Sept. is from Classic Media - same as the last two. Time-Life doesn't exclusively put out DVD sets of Warner related shows. This is just another case of them being able to charge $35.98 for the set (after s&h). If you wait till Sept, you can grab it for $23.93

I sure do hope this isn't going to be a "skinny" boxed-set like the other season sets have been lately (ie "Green Acres" ''Bewitched").
