Doesn't anyone remembers Cool McCool, please. I don't want to be the only one with loves the show. :crying: :crying:

I disliked Bob Kane's other TV show when I saw it years later, "Courageous Cat". But I absolutely loved watching "Cool McCool" when it was on.

Of course, a lot of cartoons of my 1960s childhood don't stand up too well under my viewing today (there are some exceptions). I wish I had run into those videos so I could judge for myself.

Yeah, I remember Cool McCool. I remember I always enjoyed watching the show. It was aired back in the early 80's as part of cartoon block. Along with Cool McCool cartoons, there was Beatle Baily, Archie, Super Boy, Superman, Batman(1960's) and Aquaman with his sidekick Aquaboy.

Unfortunately, I can't really recall any episodes to memory. I do remember bits and snatches of the show, such as the opening titles ending with the boss blasting off Cool McCool, and our hero intoning "Danger is my Business!" as he heads for a rough landing. And I recall the opening for the backup cartoons, in which Cool McCool would serenade on a guitar about his pop (I remember he was quite a polite bobby in leading his men).

Oh, I see. Number One always enjects Cool out of his office. As for Cool's dad Harry McCool. Harry is a Kop and his brothers are Kops too. :)

Listen, I'm afraid I'm going to have to close this thread. I'm sorry for making all of you asking about Cool McCool. Well, the truth is that I wanted to make a Anime Cool McCool AOL Comic Book Series (like Bleedman does the Powerpuff Girls D Comics) If there still Cool McCool Fans out there; who are want more Cool McCool. But I guess there not. It would been fan if Cool McCool would started over as an Anime character :anime: But it's just a dream, and it always will be a dream. :( But at Least I get to draw him just for fun. :)

It could be that "Cool McCool" is still very popular with those who know the series, but unfortunately many have likely forgotten or never been born when the show aired.

I dunno, a comic based on the character might be worth a try at that. "Astroboy" (at least before the recent series) and "Supercar" were about as old and obscure as "Cool McCool", yet comics were brought out on them.

I remember Cool McCool. I use to watch him on Saturday mornings at 7am or 7:30. He would come on with Beetle Bailey. The thing that stood out about Cool McCool was his catch phrase, "Danger is my business". What was the name of Cool McCool's boss?

I like Cool McCool better. He was like Inspector Closseau and James Bond rolled into one character. They should revive the character and maybe do a live action movie.

You forgot Inspector Gadget and Maxwell Smart :D They too reminded my of Cool. And speaking about him, Cool McCool is my favorite character too. And I also like the Rattler and the Jack-In-The-Box, they're the two villains in the show. Do you have a favorite villain too?

Anyway, Ebay has the DVD of Cool McCool. But there from UK and I'm not sure if they are real, because sometime Ebay cannot be trusted.

But amazon.com has the VHS one, see go.

That's an idea. After all, Disney has made a couple pretty successful live-action movies with Inspector Gadget. And I suspect Cool McCool was a far superior character to Inspector Gadget.

I remember "Cool McCool". They showed it on local TV (in reruns) in the early 1970s, along with "Batfink" and "Courageous Cat & Minute Mouse".

Most people I know don't remember any of these shows.

The only McCool villain I can remember is "Hurricane Harry" (with all the wind he could carry).:D

I don't remember McCool's sidekick.

Most people I know don't remember any of these shows.Well, there some who do and some who do not.

I know Hurrican Harry too. I have him and the other crooks in my VHS and DVD-R.

And as for Cool's sidekick, you don't remember him? Well Breezy doesn't show up all the episodes, he appear some. Can you try to remember him alittle?
