Question on "The Inspector"

What exactly is the name of The Inspector's assistant (the fellow in the gendarme's uniform who's always saying "Si...I mean, Oui, Inspector")? It sounds like he has two names, either "Judeaux" or "Deaux Deaux?"

It's Sgt. Deux Deux.

In the MGM tape containing five Inspector shorts, they misspelled the name as "Judo".

I don't know but I always enjoyed the Inspector shorts far more than the Panther ones.
