This sounds like a tabloid headline.

One thing I can say about this show: it's made the transition from cel to digital rather nicely. It's a friggin' digital masterpiece compared to Scryed.
Okay, you know that a series has jumped the shark when characters in feudal Japan start fighting cyborgs.

Wow, the next episode preview didn't show the characters alive again? I'm shocked.
That's not a spoiler or anything, I just assume they're coming back to life.

Where's the Justice League and Dragonballs when you need them! Well, they got Sesshomaru and his Tensaiga. Three cheers for cheapening death!

Okay, you know that a series has jumped the shark when characters in feudal Japan start fighting cyborgs.Inuyasha talks like a fourteen year old kid being driven to a Three Days Grace concert by his mom, are you really looking for anything close to historical accuracy? Seriously, the "cyborgs" in design didn't look too futuristic that they seemed out of place.
The ending for this episode was laughably melodramatic.

Seriously, the "cyborgs" in design didn't look too futuristic that they seemed out of place.Even so, cyborgs shouldn't be around before they're invented. That would be like Inuyasha stealing a car and running over Naraku. It's just not right.

It's just not right. :sad:But like I said the designs didn't make them look out of place, there was nothing really about them that looked very futuristic, they were very rustic looking cyborgs.

if that is how they finally killed off Naraku I would cheer because that would be unexpected and awesome :anime:

Who said anything about cyborgs? He's just some big crazy metallic guy, and probably a demon by Japan's standards.

That would be the best ending to Inuyasha.
I just felt this episode was standard Inuyasha, not really good or bad just same old Inuyasha with a cyborg zombie for no reason.

Eh, wasn't that good. The obvious attempts to drag on the episode to fill out its entire half hour was irritating. Ending was a bit surprising, even though we know they will be alive at least by the end of the next episode or so.
I give K,M,aS : S! a C.

That's not a spoiler or anything, I just assume they're coming back to life.Gee, I wonder why Fluffy was talking in the episode preview...
Of course, IY should have had Fluffy use Tensaiga 2 weeks ago so we wouldn't have had this drag out so much...

Sesshoumaru did not originally appear at this point in the story.
In other news, woo hoo, a new promo! They used some "One Day One Dream" clips, too!

Speaking of endings, the new ending (Itazurana Kiss) should start being shown in 3 weeks for episode 109
- 1 more episode down and just 58 more to go

Three of them down four of them to go. The only ones are alive are the gay guy and the monk and the other two we don't know yet.
Out-of-place technology in feudal Japan was done better in New Getter Robo. But the melodrama, oh the melodrama...

The Cyborg one is dead killed by Inuyasha's Wind Scar and then the samiyosho picked up the remaining body searching for the jewel shard.

Call it a hunch, but I don't think he's dead.. mainly cause he's a cyborg who's empty inside and only really needs.. well I don't know what he needs, but they can rebuild him!

It seems that when a member of the band of seven gets killed they get turned into a skeleton. And in order to kill one of them you have to attack their jewel shard. Inu-yasha didn't attack the jewel shard, nor did the cyborg dude turn into a skeleton, so I doubt he's dead.
My question is how the hell can insects carry a cyborg's head and torso? That's gotta be heavy.

I don't think its a spoiler to say we haven't seen the last of Ginkotsu. Anyway, if you thought this was melodramatic, wait 'til next week.
So far, this has proven to be a really enjoyable story arc for me. Nice to see the series back into the manga storyline.
Inuyasha's demise as a franchise is way overstated, I think. I was at the JAFAX anime con in Grand Rapids MI this past weekend and saw a bunch of IY cosplayers, including 2 groups portraying the major IY cast, along with several individual Kagomes, Mirokus and Kikyous. (^_*)

(^_*)Gah, you were there, too? o_O I went as Hakudoushi, but only on Sunday, since the costume was still missing a sleeve on Saturday.
But, yeah, there were still a bunch of Inu plushies, some Kirara hats, and two full racks of Inuyasha CDs (albeit bootlegs <_<). And this is just a small convention. Even the "general anime knowledge" quiz for the game show includes an Inu question.

It seems this story arc is beginning to pick up some steam, which is nice to see. It's been a while since there've been any episodes worth commenting on. As for next week, while I have no doubt Sesshomaru will bring the gang back to life if they are, in fact, dead, what I want to know is why. There's no love loss between the two brothers, after all.
