Shameless plug time. Just thought I'd mention the update of Hokey Smoke! Rocky and Bullwinkle (http://bullwinkle.toonzone.net). The site has been part of Toon Zone for more than four years now, and rarely gets an update. I added a new page about the Dudley Do-Right Emporium, new links, a page for Quisp and Quake, links to the new DVDs, and more.

Wow, it's about time that site got updated. Hmm, I read SOMEWHERE, (it wasn't from tvshowsondvd.com though) that season 3 is supposed to come out in September, and not August. Is This true?

Not really sure. It seems like they change it every year! Originally they used to aim for a father's day release (June), but then it went back to August. I'm not sure if its pushed back.

Here's something weird...I read at TimeLife website that Season 3 will be release on July 6, 2005, but instead of this being an entire season set...it's a collection of season 3. For examples, the entire "Missouri Mish Mash" story in one set, "Lazy Jay Ranch" is one set, "Three Moosketeers" is one set, and "Topsy Turvey World" is the last season 3 set. Odd, isn't it?

Wow, so they're making Season Three (Part 1, 2, and 3). I guess its alright, as long as they keep them coming. Transformers and G.I. Joe have done the same thing because the volume of some of the seasons is just too high.
I hope the worse has not come about...apparently TIME-Life is releasing season 3 (http://www.timelife.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/eCS/Store/en/-/USD/DisplayProductInformation-Start?ProductSKU=20376), or at least a pre-release version. I'm very unclear about how this is working out. Sony/Universal with Bullwinkle Studios (Jay Ward's Estate) were releasing these previously. I hope Time Life isn't doing the rest of the series, because it will mean higher prices. I'm going to send out an email to see what's up.

I hope Time Life isn't doing the rest of the series, because it will mean higher prices. They're ACTUALLY asking for a much cheaper price for $29.99, where as it was supposed to be retailed at $39.99!

According to cover, it says that Season 3 is 64 episodes (33 full shows)....
http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/newsitem.cfm?NewsID=3584
So wouldn't that mean that this set would spill into Season 4 since Season 3 only had 19 full episodes?

Maybe it's still being worked out...originally, they said Season 2 would only have 26 episodes, which is only HALF of the entire season. I have to admit though, that is one ugly cover art.

according to a publicist at Classic Media, the next boxset will have 33 episodes. The preorder at Deepdiscountdvd has the set priced at $23.93 (no shipping fee).

PaulIf you got the season 3 had 19 episodes info from TV Tome, that's because I had the episodes listed in the only version I ever saw and am familiar with: the refurbished syndicated version, in which after season 2, they had each half hour show feature 3 Bullwinkle segments, and one Fractured Fairy Tale.
Well, everywhere I read, apparently the confirmed release date is Septemeber 6, 2005, and not July. I hate that, they DO keep pushing them later and later each year. At the rate they're going right now, I won't have the complete collection until I'm in college!
