did everyone forget? as of yesterday it has been a whole year since CN completely changed its style so how do you think the new things have held up?
1) new logo - this thing never got smaller like people here said it would :(
2) CN city bumps - like them and they keep changing as new shows and characters appear
3) 3 commercial breaks - dislike and always will
4) new announcer - I don't think it will be possible to get tired of this one unless her voice changes all weird :p

You mean a year and one week right?

No. It's officially the new look's birthday as of yesterday.
I generally prefer everything the new look has to offer. The three ad breaks allow for shorter time between shows (no time) and make the shows go faster.
The logo was needed for Cartoon Network, although I admit I like the fact that the old logo's still around.
The bumpers and the new announcer are both good things. The new announcer gave us a taste of the future of Cartoon Network, and got rid of ages-old announcers. The bumpers brought together concepts and characters that usually wouldn't go together.

Two commercial breaks should be good enough. Three is just overkill.

1. From day one, I kinda like the new logo. The old logo remains on most merchandise, though recently, I've seen the new one appear on some items.
2. Love them. It's nice that they're doing different bumps for different times of the year.
3. This doesn't apply to every show on CN. A few of them use two, although their breaks are a bit longer.
4. I like her voice. One question that still lingers....who is she? What's her name?

1) new logo - this thing never got smaller like people here said it would :(That was pretty cool.
2) CN city bumps - like them and they keep changing as new shows and characters appearThey look SO ghetto!
3) 3 commercial breaks - dislike and always willThat goes double for me!
4) new announcer - I don't think it will be possible to get tired of this one unless her voice changes all weird :pShe's pretending to have a sexy voice, but she really doesn't. In fact, her voice makes me cringe!

1.) The new logo was much needed.
2.)I like the bumps.
3.) I'm not really miffed at the three commercials thing
4.) This, by far, was the best change of all. I grew attatched to the new girl the second I heard her. Much needed change of pace from the old announcer dudes.

I've grown to like it. Everything but the 3 commercials that is.

They look SO ghetto! Is that a good thing? She's pretending to have a sexy voice, but she really doesn't. In fact, her voice makes me cringe!Um, I think the girl's just using her original voice. After all, it was once mentioned that she's a teenager... too young to be a voice vixen.
Two commercial breaks should be good enough. Three is just overkill. It's not even that bad. You say it's overkill like they added five more commercial breaks instead of one. It's not like most every other channel's not doing the same thing.
3. This doesn't apply to every show on CN. A few of them use two, although their breaks are a bit longer.Yes. Some shows still exhibit two commercial breaks when they air (ie: Samurai Jack, Courage, PPG).
CyberCartoon is right, the new look was on the 13th. Anyways, this is the best thing CN has ever done and the best look of any cartoon channel.

IMO, her voice does sound sexy. ^_^;; But it`s good, as mentioned before it`s a nice change of place from the usual announcers.

I like everything that the New Look has done for Cartoon Network, with the exception for the commerical breaks. I personally, would like to see CN changed their commerical breaks either back to 1 long break or 2 medium breaks. Overall, the New Look for CN was for the better.

I suppose I can finally ask this question that's been bugging me for months and months about the Cartoon Network 'city'.
Do or could Adult Swim, Toonami, and Miguzi exist in the city or somewhere in that world?
Is there some building downtown in the city where the Phil Ken Sebben firm does their business?
Is there some giant ocean where a little girl with a bunch of weird creatures lives inside of a giant. . .thing?
And what about TOM? Is he broadcasting signals from Japan somewhere over Earth in the Cartoon Network world?

Only CN originals appear in the city. Toonami is in space anyway, and miguzi is underwater, so they wouldn`t be featured there.

Wow, it's already been a year? Crazy....
1) I like the new logo. It's much better than the old one.
2) Those look tight.
3) Well, there are pros and cons about that. I've gotten used to them, but I prefer only 1.
4) The new announcer is great. Much better than the old one, and her voice is sexy!
So, I think the "all new" (well, a year old now) CN was an awesome revamp and much better than the old one.

Is the new logo the goofy little letters of just CN I once saw? I haven't watche dCartoon Network in a while, so I don't know if that's the new logo. But if it is, I hate. The old one was better.

IIRC, Megas appeared in CN eyecatchers while it was still a Toonami exclusive.

CyberCartoon is right, the new look was on the 13th.I could've sworn it started on a Monday morning.
Do or could Adult Swim, Toonami, and Miguzi exist in the city or somewhere in that world?Miguzi does... sort of. Recall the bumper right after Miguzi that takes the viewer from underwater to into a sewer and out of the sewer to Candyland (or whatever it's called).
I think that's Grey DeLisle who's the announcer.I don't think she is. Grey has that sort of "kid" sound to her voice, and I don't think she could supress it like that.
Megas appeared in CN eyecatchers while it was still a Toonami exclusive.Yeah, but that's because Megas is a Cartoon Network original. And, it's this order they follow:
Cartoon Network original > Toonami exclusive

If anything, I love the new bumpers. Too bad CN Japan still uses the Powerhouse ones. I wish I could see more of it. ANd I wish the charcters from one show, would interact more with characters from another. That would be pretty cool.

We know that the changes took place on June 14th last year in the U.S, and that things change on January 1st for Latin America, and for the U.K. on April 11th. I'm assuming everyone else is still waiting for that change (it will happen eventually, that's what I've read).
I know this is going off-topic, but is there anyone that remember the name of the announcers from the past (or anyone know the name of the man who did the "Get Animated" ads)?

I've heard Grey DeLisle's real voice and she sounds nothing like that. I've always thought that it's Tara Strong.

Whilst it'll be 9 months and 18 days until the UK anniversary, I still agree with all the comments (apart from the 3 adverts, since we still only have 2 :P). The new logo is nice, the bumpers are really nice and the woman isn't annoying or patronising (apart from when she says Mucha Lucha... then she makes me cringe).

After that day CN changed i was mad. thats the same logos taht had looney tunes on them when cartoon cartoons were on. then they changed the look and the shows. and from that day on CN IMO got worse. All the good shows were in the dust. I remember watching the good CN with my family my whole family and laugh. but now CN..... doest have the quality it used to have.

Well, it's been shown on the Summer kickoff special that Tommy and the other Friday's host exist in the same world as Toonami and Miguzi, so the question then becomes do Tommy and what's her face(Tara, is it?) live in the same world as the Cartoon Network city.

wouldnt we all. hopefully CN doesnt keep going the way it is cuz then well miss CN 2005 which is very scary. Hopefully though CN will show new shows with the quality of cartoon cartoons.
i remember looking at a bunch of old 1999 cartoon network sites. i mean like people who comment about it. well they Cartoon Cartoons will make CN bad and they wished it would never happen be fore it happened but after just about all cartoon cartoons are not in a good time slot they wish they were back.
kinda confusin but use your brain

I think over the next year or so CN world will grow to encompass more areas,
but how much so is still up in the air. I'm curious about what people like and don't like about the bumps? G
