Wow, I felt bad about slamming RC but man this show's talkbacks have dropped off quickly.. are people not even watching here anymore? Heh.

Well, tonight really wasn't one of the better Robot Chicken episodes. I agree that the Santa sketch was kind of lame, but I thought the Jaws sketch was pretty good. I mean, would you have thought about having Jaws diguise himself as a person and chase down people with a chainsaw?

The reason I didn't like the Santa sketch is that it seems like Mad TV has done similar sketches before and it just seemed to be retreading the same material.

Oh, and the A Team sketch sucked too. So, yeah, it's easy to bash a show when you pick a rather off episode to bash.

The Good:
-Tupac vs. Notorious B.I.G. in heaven (that's definitely wrong)
-The unsolved murder of the Rankin-Bass Santa Claus (especially the snow monster getting high on drugs and Frosty almost being killed by a snow blower)
-Granny in a tank

The Bad:
-The Jared sketch
-The Jaws: Special Edition bit (South Park did a better job mocking special editions of Steven Spielburg movies)

In the middle:
-The A-Team (too much of a generic A-Team spoof, but I liked one of the guys hitting Mr. T on the head with a table and Jesus in the storage area that the A-Team is held in)

The Rankin-Bass Santa murder skit was hilarious, by far the best part of this episode. The Toosiepop commercial spoof was the best of the quickies. The rest of the episode was "meh." It was there and that's about all there is to say about it. (^_*)

This show could not be worse. Seriously. Robot Chicken is THE worst thing to happen to Adult Swim. And what makes it worse is it's here to stay. I cant understand how anyone can actually find this stuff funny.

I wasn't really that big of a fan of this episode either (or the whole series for that matter, except for a couple episodes), but couldn't you technically make any joke or gag on a show sound retarded by talking about it like that?

Anyway, this episode was ok. Nothing out right terrible, but nothing that sharp either. That's sketch comedy though; it's hit/miss by nature. Today miss. Next we could be more hit-ish.

If you watched that A-Team parody, you don’t ever need to watch an episode of the A-Team, because that parody pretty much nailed the story of every A-Team episode. It would have been perfect if, at the end, they were running away from a squad of U.S. soldiers that couldn’t hit the broadside of a barn with barn seeking missiles. (Yes it was a parody, not just a reference used as a vehicle for the fart joke, from revealing why the client was usually a “hot babe” (discrimination!), to the A-Team making an over-the-top super APC out of spare industrial parts.)


"Jaws: Special Edition" was hilarious.


This was a decent episode of Chicken, as far as I'm concerned.

I thought it was pretty good, lacking in some parts but atleast over average, more then i can say for the rest of the AS original shows, i can't stand any of the rest, sundays is ONLY Robot Chicken for me, the rest of the shows stink*well Family Guy is alright but its not a AS original, and i havn't watched American Dad*

Only AS/WS originals i've liked are Space Ghost, Brak and now Robot Chicken.

I don't know, I've stated my dislike in past posts. I just don't frequently post "bad episode" each time because that would almost be a regular thing. I mean the show sometimes has good skits (Smurfs crossed with Se7en was funny and I kind of liked the "Behind the Scenes with The Muppets Band or whatever") Other than that, the show does try too hard with fart jokes, drug jokes, beating each other up skits, and having skits that rely on celebrity people (there was nothing funny about those Joey Fatone series of skits.)

My opinion on Robot Chicken is similar to that of Matt Wilson's opinion of Megas XLR: it has some good ideas but the execution is very poorly done. IMO this show doesn't remind me of something that should be for Adult Swim, but it reminds me more of a pre-teen/teen flash cartoon, you know, kind of like Foamy the Squirell (where the big jokes are him saying the "f-word".)

Now to the topic of how this episode was.... well.... long story short, didn't like it.

Am I the only one who liked the "Euthinasia" skit? That was hilarious.

And the Tank Granny was funny too. Pretty much any skit with old people on RC so far has been a riot.

Other than that, I agree with most of you, this episode wasn't that great.

as for santa...they should stop doing unsolved case mysteries,the intros start out great,but once they get into interviews,it drags and drags,and sucks

anyway,great episode,better than both the new family guy and american dad!

I really don't want to troll but I can't help it. Everytime I watch this show, it's the worst episode I've ever seen of anything ever created for television, and I include Baby Felix the Cat.

The Santa murder sequence, basically the "highlight" of the episode, was so stereotypically bad.. I mean I knew from the start they were going to do drug jokes.. which was pretty much all it was.
