You don't even NEED to make innuendos here. They're made for you.

I actually saw this episode OnDemand. I rather enjoy the show, but I don't really feel the need to watch every episode.

I really like the voice acting in this show (at least this episode).
(Someone's probably call me crazy. That's ok, I'm easy to please and I'll never buy this on DVD to know the difference.)

EDIT- Yeah, I forgot about the big, hard magnum.

"Despite your appearences, you're a real b***h". I love it.

(I love parantheses [and brackets])

this episode would have been better if the villian hadnt been the worst type there is - big talking brute with either a big body or a big weapon :( the setting and all was good with some comedy to so other then the villian it was good

"It's thick! And hard! And COMING RIGHT AT YA!!!!"

Any episode where David Umasky plays a crazy person automatically gets an A+ from me.

I thought he sounded more like Derek Stephen Prince, unless that`s another name.

Thaat water power is pretty lethal, I guess it dosen`t work on humns though.

If they didn't burst out laughing in the studio after that was yelled into the mic, then they are most certainly zombie-ninja badasses.

Like last week's, I enjoyed this episode. I liked the standoff at the end, I thought the giant gun guy wasn't gonna put up much of a fight, but he managed to do some damage in the end.

I give Big Magnum a B-.

I thought for sure Ayase was just going to turn that guy into a puddle. We listen to Kazuma's carpe diem pep talk -- twice! -- and then she just runs away? What the hell?

ohhh, i'd really worry about people who could turn things into puddles.. and not 'restore them'.

Ayase is a more complex character than she appears... Don't write her off yet!:)

Unlike last week's episode, I don't think this episode had the same "oomph" as before. The over-the-top magnum guy's character was a little cheesy and the fight was a bit of a let down. The story had some substance though. There's not much else I have to say...

I give Big Magnum a C+.

what is it with Derek Steven Prince and guys who carry firearms?

Is Tatsunami (is that his name?) going to sprout wings in a future episode?

Some of the lines were hilarious. But anyway...

The magnum guy is cheesy, if only a little. Eh, served his purpose well enough. Didn't like Ayase's alter too much. I did like the little moments between Kanami and Kazuma though.

Could have been better, 7/10.

...You haven't seen most people's real Altar, trust me...

Other than the 'daily villians' like the Magnum Guy, most side characters who appear to be unimportant in this shows gets to make a comeback...

Alter powers are linked to the user's mental state... Ayase's REAL alter is a little bit more dangerous than that squid-hair thing...

I liked this episode a little more than the ones that came before. I really didn't care for the first two. The third left a lot to be desired. But, this one was okay. Although, I didn't understand how he got his arm altar thing restored. He said his friend shot and that somehow restored his arm? What did he shoot and how did I miss that?

The shot didn't restore his arm, I think its that because he fired his gun Kazuma had his opening to defeat Magnum. I don't believe his arm was restored or anything, just that Kazuma fought through the pain, so to speak.

I liked this one. Ayase's a good character and her power is rather interesting. The plot wasn't anything complex but it was decent, and the middle part with Kazuma talking to Ayase I thought was pretty cool. How do I put this...the first three episodes it seemed to me simply set things up and portrayed Kazuma as this angry rebel who wants to beat the crap out of the pretty boy that embarassed him, and I thought & was worried that things would go on that way. But I thought this episode did a nice job of portraying Kazuma as a good person. Granted, the "determined Shonen hero" attitude isn't anything new, but in addition to that he has an honest sense of justice that the folks at Holy would no doubt consider simple and shortsighted, but when you get down to it he knows wrong when he sees it. And based on what I've seen so far I do not judge Holy to be just. At any rate, I thought Kazuma's portrayal in this episode goes in a good direction compared to the impression given in the first three episodes. The fight toward the end was decent too, and I thought it was neat how Kazuma's friend helped him out as opposed to a "Kazuma calls hidden power and manages to defeat the bad guy by himself" conclusion. A B+ for this episode. I give a B to Scryed overall so far. So far nothing really amazing, but I find the concept interesting and it keeps me entertained. Looking forward to seeing where this one goes.

when the Big Magnum guy had Ayase hostage, Kazuma proceeded to attack as if she wasn't a hostage, when Kimishima shot at Big Magnum's arm(it somehow didn't hurt him or something) he let go of Ayase.

Kazuma rebuilt his altar.

This was a good solid episode.

And this episode cements my opinion that the Holy Organization is what you get if Magneto and his Acolytes (Marvel Comics) were working for the government instead of against it. Very cool indeed.

I should've waited for the purrty little boxset to come out, but noooo...I had to buy them as single dvds...><

...LOL

Now that you mention it, it'd be kinda neat if an alter user gained wings as a form of an alter. Closest thing to flying is Kazuma's helicopter thingy, unless I'm forgetting something.

I like Michelle Ruff, so I like Ayase, so this episode was good.
Ayase comes back later, as people have mentioned, but she looks a 100 times kooler tho
