I was a kid in the 1970's and watched many, many HB shows, as well as others.

I was trying to remember the show episode length for Scooby-Doo and the Super Friends.

I think that "Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!" (Scooby's first TV series) originally aired for 1 hour on CBS. The 1 hour was just one story, not 2 stories together. The show stayed on CBS for one season, but then ended up on ABC for many years.

As far as the "Super Friends" go, I know they spent their entire existence on ABC, but I think the original Super Friends show (the one with Wendy, Marvin, and Wonder Dog) was a 1 hour show (one story only).

I think the 1 hour length is the reason you don't see it rerun much.

Is the information above correct? If not, please let me know.

Thanks in advance!

Well, as a kid in the 60's, I can tell you that Scooby Doo, Where Are You? was always a half-hour show from the beginning (in 1969). I think the only hour long Scooby Doo program was The New Scooby Doo Movies, which began in 1972 (I think).:D

The New Scooby-Doo Movies was the only Scooby series that filled the 1-hour time slot. But for SuperFriends, it was 3 series that occupied the full hour time slot. First was the original from '73 that featured Wendy, Marvin, and Wonder Dog. Then there was The All-New SuperFriends Hour which marked the debut of the Wonder Twins and several of the secondary SuperFriends, along with ethnic additions Black Vulcan, Samurai, and Apache Chief. And then there was the combined Challenge of the SuperFriends and half-hour SF episodes from 1978, which were more like the half-hour episodes from the previous season, only without the 3 shorts from ANSFH.
