Any of you guys ever heard of them? They had an ad in my PC world magazine and they have some pretty spiffy prices for the stuff they offer.

Here's the specs for a laptop I'm wanting

Now from these guys this thing costs $2109
A similarly configured one from alienware is $3270

Now the alienware one has a better video card, but the alienware one is just an X800 and 9700 can still handle a pretty damn good amount. Not like I'll actually be gaming on it all that much.

I love alienware and their laptop cases. This company has pretty plain cases. However I think I could live with it.

Should I go with the company I barely know and save over a $1000 or go with alienware?

Alienware has the best tech support and waranty. Their respawn software is better than great. I went with alianware area 51 and I could not be happier. Although I spent $3,500. It will last me a good while. And no Pentium M or some Sentrino. They put Pentium 4 in there.

Cyberpower offers lifetime phone support. I dunno. I think i'm switching to Cyberpower. Alienware just costs too much. Plus these guys have some awesome PC cases. I've been blazing through their web site all day and I'm absolutely sold on their products now.

So I think I'll definitely get the laptop from them now and then about 3 years down the line, I'm buying a new desktop from them too. I can get a desktop that's much more powerful from them for like 2/3 the price of alienware.

Are those 10,000 rpms raptor drives?

I don't think I'll ever get around to building my own pc. Too much of a pain in the ass for me to go lookin' for parts.

How much you end up payin' for that beauty?

My system is pretty close to yours. You have more hard drive space, but I have more ram. I would love to have that much hard drive space. I know I suck it up like there's no tomorrow. Especially with all the DVD crap I do.

10,000 RPM only available in SCSI or SATA but SATA 10,000 RPM is not very stable. 1024 RAM is more than enough for me for now. You have no idea how many countless hours I spent upgrading this MONSTER PC to what is it today. If you look at my Super Server Tower, there is no space left. But Thermaltake make hell of a good Chasis. I espetialy like the new Xaser v3000 ones I got Xaser v1000 only. It was the newest when I got it, it comes with a window, 7fans (top 1, back 2, front 2, side 2) and a Hardcano that monitors the speed of the seven fans and measures the temp of my CPU so it does not overheat.
