Also, it's confirmed there WILL be a Courage CD soundtrack from the show.

Apparently not popular enough.

CN really should make some room for their best original shows to remain on the line-up. But they'd rather rerun something that's currently popular. They could completely overhaul prime time for the better.

07:00 - Power Puff Girls
07:30 - Dexter's Lab
08:00 - Ed, Edd n Eddy
08:30 - Courage the Cowardly Dog
09:00 - Jonny Bravo
09:30 - Samurai Jack
10:00 - Megas XLR / Teen Titans
10:30 - Dragonball Z

But it seems that's not possible because they want newer stuff on.

So I say prime time shows should be limited to originals and maybe a few Toonami shows that need rerun slots. No more KWB reruns in prime (except maybe Pokemon but that really should be on Miguzi).

Courage, Dexter, PPG, Bravo and a few others should have their place still. Maybe mid-day before Miguzi. The stuff they air before Miguzi is mostly garbage anyway and Krypto is on plenty as it is.

It wouldn't work making a 2D cartoon CGI. That costs too much money and would be very weird. Of course, everybody who's a fan would see it, that can be achived by original series makers producing it as well, like PPGs.

Tog-A-War :D You know, "5th Season vs. the Three-Parter Ending Movie." But one day, CN will decided about Genndy's movie not maybe. :sad: If I'd were them, I rather choose both of them :anime: insteand having a war. (giggles)

And for the record Diseny no-longer have anything to with Pixar films (well, after cars) because there partership is breaking up.

And it wouldn't really be up to diseny to "approve" or "dissaprove" of anything, they just publish the movies and cash-cow them. The only way they could "dissapprove" would be if it wouldn't make a profiet, in that case Pixar wouldn't approve either.

look, i am a user on tvtome, and i like the site, and avebeen on for nearly a year, and i even stand up for the site on toonzone...

the eee pixar movie was posted by a newbie who found this out from someone

it isn't a bad site, and i encourage to go there(and tv.com), it's just that many people are jerks(except on the eee fourm)

i agree that they shpould show more cc thaN kwb/4kids, but that probally will never happen again(after late night friday)

the only way they all could get back on the air is

- go on a new channel(more than likely called cn2 or Cartoon cartoons)
- go on 2-5 sat-th(least likely of the choices, but all they do is show reapeats)
- go on boomerang in 10 years(more likely)

so 10 years we will probally have to wait to the shows in prime time(man i miss time squad and courage)

What do you guys mean by movie? If you mean a theatrical film, then no. If you mean a direct-to-Video/DVD release, then no. If you mean three half-hour episodes put together to form a TV movie, then no. The show's cancelled and there's nothing in the works, as most of the cast and crew have moved to other projects.

Well i saw an interview from a courage site from John Dilworth which i wish ToonZone could get hold of John beacause we need information and he knows it. well during the conversation he said "no there will NOT be a courage movie, CN proably wouldn't fund me or support it"

It's a shame that such a vast majority of editors for TVTome/TV are a bunch of n00bs. The system they use to get information online (users submitting their news they find) is just begging to be exploited. All the truthful news that gets put up on TVTome/TV comes from somewhere else anyway, so I'd never believe anything on there without having a reliable link to back their posts up. .

TVTOME is better as a reference site for episode guides and DVD news if anything else, the News section, by all rights, should never have been there in the first place.

I don't see Courage doing well in the theaters at all. Seriously, I don't see any kind of plot being executed and working. IMO, the only CC that right now has movie potential is Kids Next Door, since it gets very good ratings and its audience is faithful to it, however, I don't see it doing better than PPG in the box office. Much less Courage would do any better.

Why would anyone assume a Courage or CKND movie would come out directly too the theaters? To me the obvious choice here would be a DVD release and network premier like Nickelodeon does with their FoP movies and similar to what CN did with the Dexter's Laboratory: Ego Trip project a few years ago.

Actually, I've found a lot of crap in the Episode Guides as well. The only thing I feel safe using is voice acters/actresses lookups to see who does what, and even then I do double check elsewhere after looking.

Yeah, just so you know there is NO plans for a Courage movie. With the series officially over and Cartoon Network not in the pratice of making movies, it won't happen. If you love the series, I suggest a DVD campaign or something.

They have Courage dvds out, my brother ordered every episode on Ebay in the special dvd pack thingy. But there will be no Courage movie, no matter how much we wish, pray, whatever. It just won't happen. We may not like it, but when a show is on 4A.M. Saturdays it isn't going to get a movie. That simple.

Way I see it, the only shows that have the slightest chance for a movie after the PPGs disaster are EEE and Samurai Jack. Only CKND Operation ZERO has been confirmed. There might also be a Billy & Mandy movie considered sometime in future, so we should accept the things as they are. Two cast members for CCD died anyway, and the show hasn't been made in two and a half years. So let's stop resurrecting this pointless thread and let it die as well.
