Well, TVTOME is allegecly closing tommorow (although there's speculation the shutdown will not occur beyond that date for a while), to make way for TV.COM, which will maintain the guides, It's essentially going to base it's editors on how much information is produced for a show, regardless of accuracy, it's going to become the next IMDB as far as I'm concerned.
www.tv.com (http://www.tv.com/)
Now first of all, I'm not opening ths up for trivial, inane tvtome bashing, as I could find a billion faults with this site and it's affliates if I wanted to, let's try and keep this constrictive and cival, for everyu flaw TVTOME had, it also had positives, and several guides were'nt as badly informed or as inaccurate as some made it out to be.
My only problem with this site compared to TV Tome, is the linking. TV Tome could hold everything on one page instead of needing to click links. But the server is 10x better.

I still can't say whether TV.com will be worse or better than TV Tome. One thing I won't miss is TV Tome's server(s).

TV.com is waaaaaay too complicated to navigate around. They don't even have trivia facts about the episode at the bottom of the summary! What gives!?. There are too many things happening at once on the show's main page. This is bull, I don't care about all this high tech mumbo jumbo crap. I want TVtome back:sad:

Well, I'm glad we have our separate forum for Code Lyoko and that at least one VA has plans to stay with us. It bugs me that whoever simply provides info to the guides may get mod privleges. I've seen people submit info, even good stuff, that have no buisness being a mod, but I'm sure this isn't unexpected from me. I also have no idea how well the webmaster will respond to problems. It still doesn't have the features of other boards, I'm a little disappointed in that. I did manage to reach 1000 post at TvT, for me, that's being a chatterbox :D

Don't worry about it too much. There is nothing anyone can do at this point. Money talks, and human beings are such adoptive creatures, that we will get used to anything. So just visit it, get acostomed to it, and try to make the best of it.

So basically all the hard work I put into making the the Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World guides at TVTome accurate no longer matter.
I'm going to miss TVTome.

You will not miss TvTome at all.Actually, you will, Rangecentral does'nt contain HALF the references the TVTOME P.R Guide had, it covered every little detail of the series, from writers, straight down to what the original script for Forever Red was supposed to contain.
I recommend El Funaroverse, the upcoming revival of Spoiler Warnings, and Rangerboard over THAT junk pile.
On the subject of the P.R Guide, I've heard one of the co-editors managed to save EVERY inch of work both of them did and is trying to upload it on a new site called "TV Fans Online", which looks like a very bad live journal blog...I hope he tries to find a better place for it

Of course I have, I'm still a member of it's RangerBoard.
RangerBoard is great for discussion and actually, occassionally, talking to cast and crew.
RangerCentral is great for bios and tech specs and all.
el Funaroverse is great for the weird, obscure stuff.
Writer's Guide is great for fact checking.
And TV Tome was great for episode descriptions and plot points.

The server is much faster. I also love the new graphics.
I still don't have control over my guides, but as long as it's all fixed by early July, it's fine with me.

Nice website, but I'll miss the old TV Tome.
Rest In Peace, TV Tome. (Man that was a bit pathetic.)
But thankfully the only thing I didn't like was that they squashed the TV show pages to gain way for those annoying TV ads.

I just looked at the site for the first time since I have heard about TV.com. I think I'll like the new site. Much, much faster.

That's what they said about IMDB
Faster or not, the site is bollocks at the moment, especially in guide format...
