Heh heh... Matt Hill and Pete Kalamis (sp?) and the old Batman VS Superman debate. This show is great.

The first half featured Streaky and Isis, and the second half featured Bathound and Penguin's birds. It also featured the Batman/ Superman debate, and it was hillarious seeing Krypto's reaction as Kevin finally met Bathound. Thiese two episodes basically showed everything that makes Krypto great, and Matt Hill as one of Penguin's birds was a definite shocker for me. I died laughing when I heard it. I give these two episodes an A.

This is 'Krypto' the way I like it: Lots of screen time for Streaky and Ace in two first-class episodes last night.

Stray for a Day
Whatever else you think of him, you've got to admit that Streaky knows how to have a good time. I really liked the scenes where he and Princess (they make a cute couple) take in the sites of Metropolis. Streaky mostly plays his designated role as goofy sidekick in this one but he gets to do a rescue and help capture the bad guys, so he shows his worth. Maybe not the best Streaky episode but it was fun most of the way.

Ruffled Feathers
As I suspected, Krypto isn't the 'Mr. Perfect' he sometimes seems to be and that's good, he was an interesting character here. It was amusing to see him become jealous as Kevin showed his admiration for Bat Hound. The penguin's birds and another narrow escape added to the fun as both heroes showed what makes them great. Now if I could just see a teamup with all three of the main heroes I'd be satisfied.

More episodes like these, please!

Tonight's episodes were excellent: The "Batman" villains' pets are among the better baddies in "Krypto" and there was a helping of Streaky and Ace (though not in the same episode sadly).

Stray for a Day: The Princess and the Pauper with a twist. Despite a predictable theme, this episode was good. It's nice to see Streaky bond with a female feline character of some sort (Krypto befriended Rosy in "Superdog? Who's Superdog?" so now it's Streak's turn). The ending was funny though with Streaky shoveling caviar into his mouth instead of receiving his medal for saving the ship.

Ruffled Feathers: In another thread, a lot of people said Krypto was a good character, except he seems kinda plain at times. He doesn't have any angst, he isn't dark, moody or broody, he dosen't have anger management problems...typical good guy, with minimal personality flaws. For once, we see a new side of Krypto--his jealous streak. It was interesting to see Krypto fall prey to such a negative emotion.

It makes sence. If you were perfect, you'd be jeolous of anything "more" perfect.

Stray For A Day:I enjoyed this one and I liked Princess. She was a cool character and kinda reminded me of Aeris from FF7.

Ruffled Feathers:I pretty much missed this one. I live in San Diego where it didn't rain or snow but kind of fell asleep through this one.

If you were perfect, then you wouldn't have any jeaoulsy because there would be nothing more perfect.

IMO Krypto is usually a really good guy, but he isn't that perfect. He appears a little conceited sometimes and gets kind of pushy with Streaky (to the point of grabbing him by the cape and throwing him to the ground in 'Stray for a Day' ouch!).

Stray for a Day: FINALLY a Streaky spotlight. Bad news is that it was kind of boring. I liked it okay but I'm used to Streaky episodes being awesome because he rocks so hard. I found the plot a little pedestrian. ***.

Ruffled feathers: Even though the episode falls apart halfway through I liked this one a lot. I love a petty Krypto. And yes, the Batman and Superman debates waged were priceless. Of course at the end Kevin has to tell Krypto he's his bestest friend. Aaaaawww. ****.

Average: ***1/2.

How so? I only caught the last two minutes of Stray (I thought last week's 8 o'clock Krypto was a one shot deal), so I didn't get a real feel for the character.

"Ruffled Feathers" was great, but man, Kevin came off kind of insensitive. I know he's no Terry McGinnis (who, in a reverse called Superman the greatest hero and then quickly said one of), but the way he went on and on about Bathound/Batman and not even realizing that he could be hurting Krypto was kind of mean. Then again, Kevin is just a kid, and the ending was nice.

Still makes me wonder if it's just because Batman is from another city. Maybe seeing Superman all the time makes it less special. Are there kids in Gotham who are Superman fans just because everyone talks about Batman all the time?

Stray for a Day: Streaky was great in this one. He stole the show here. The ending was really golden. :p

Ruffled Feathers: I liked this one a little better. Kevin meets Bat Hound for the first time, gets all excited, wanted an autograph (you can't blame the boy there). We saw a side of Krypto we haven't really seen yet....jealousy. It was awesome to see the three in this ep.

Since I haven't really talked about this show, the eps I really enjoy are the ones with Streaky, Bat Hound, or Kevin. For some reason, the Dog Stars episodes don't interest me that much, except maybe one. :p Good series.

One of my favorite episodes of Krypto so far. ;)
