Adobe Creative Suite 2

Set to ship in May, Adobe is releaseing Creative Suite 2. Looking at some of the improvements, it seems as if Photoshop is becoming a swiss army knife of tools.

Photoshop is far from perfect. They still have to perfect the red eye removal tool with one (or two) clicks, like Alien Skin Image Doctor plugin does. I can say that Photoshop will be complete when there will be no need for any major plugins, everything will be inside photoshop.

If this doesn't incorporate stuff from the recent Macromedia merger, it's a waste of time for them to put it out right now.

The Macromedia merger happened last week, and this is coming out in May. Do the math! I don't think its a total waste though, considering some of the new programs (i.e. bridge and stock photos) seem to have useful applications.
