For us poor Americans, at least =P Today's the big day - taxes are due by midnight and thus I'm frantically digging through my Accordion File of Infinite Records trying to find whatever scraps of paper might be considered some form of deductible (erm, or at least a W-2 from this year) ... I would be annoyed at myself for putting it off so long but considering that it's only 10am here now this is actually ahead of schedule for me - if I had to dash off to the post office (or rather, click that "Send" button) right at the stroke of midnight tonight, well, it wouldn't be the first time =P
Even so, misery does love company - so tell me, I'm not -really- the only American here who still hasn't finished her taxes, am I? C'monnn, revel in the procrastinatorial goodness with me!

Well, I don't have to pay taxes since my parents pay them, but I'd have to give sympathy to my teachers. They get to sit in boring meetings while the students are off today (well some sit in the back of the auditorium and sleep or fool around, which makes them go to sleep). They'll be like this (:clears throat:):
"Ugh..boring meetings.....zzzzzzz.....*when coming home, looks at big pile of unopened envelopes* Man, I gotta pay my taxes."
If the money is spent fairly and wisely, I am for taxes.

Did mines late Feb and got my return back in March. Uh, Fed and State refund comes out to a total of $840. Although I had to buy a $500 IRA to increase my refund, so...

My parents do them. No worries. Even the summer of 2003, when I actually had a summer job, I didn't make enough to have to do taxes.

I've had my federal stuff done since early February, but I just got back from the post office about an hour ago after finally finishing my state taxes. I get a whopping $13 refund. Plus the $20 my brother paid me to do his.

Mine have been done since February... got my returns in mid-march... and between state & Fed, I got about $1600 back... Student Loans can be wonderful things, sometimes :)

I must not make beans compared to some of you. I got my returns a couple months ago and only got about $300. I shouldn't say "only." At least I didn't owe.

Well, it's the day after Taxday. Do you know where your taxes are?
My dad had to make me pay taxes once, but that was only an inheritance tax.
In Canada, our tax due date is April 30th. I already had my taxes done by my uncle, and I ended up having to pay $40. That was mostly due to my working through a temp agency (they never take enough income tax out of your pay).

I finished mine (State and Federal) yesterday at 6:30. Hours to spare. Not entirely my fault it took so long. I didn't get one of my W2s until 2:30 that afternoon. Of course, it's my fault I didn't yell at the stupid company months earlier to resend it, or get an extension for myself.
I get $203 from Uncle Sam, but Illinois says I'm just right. Nothing deserved or owed. Poo.
Apparently, this is the last year we will be able to telefile. I'd do it online (as is in my nature), but the telefile form is mailed to me. I don't want to have to go to one of the many places that have tax forms and get an E-File form. That's too much effort.
