Pollen. In Georgia, this stuff purely sucks. In about two days time, my car has turned from white to yellow. The roads are yellow-black. Sinuses and stuff are horrid.

Ironically, a freak hailstorm cleared much of that up today, but it'll be back, I know it.

So, how's pollen in your neck of the woods?

So, how's pollen in your neck of the woods? Would you believe it? It's just as bad where I am!

I had to clean ash of my car not to long ago...

Luckily Mt. St. Helens doesn't make a mess too often. ;)

It's getting there. Woken up to a yellow car window the last few days. Thankfully my car's already beige, so adding pollen to the paint don't matter too much.

Out here in Missouri, or should i say missery, we are the natural breeding ground for pollen, dust, and allergetic people...the humitity sux, and it gets really hot here at times. It also gets very, very cold here in the winter... the only good thing about Missouri, is the fact that if u drive out into the country ( south of the state) it's really pretty...So my answer is yes we get lots of pollen..but i don't think anough to make a car yellow..wich is probably a good thing...

The Dragon Lady (an old high school teacher that I had and my brother also had before me. We called her that because she was overly mean to us) and she used to have a small yellow car. My brother's class (they also nic named her The Dragon Lady) nic named her car the "Banana Mobile".

Yes, we Canadians are an odd bunch. :p

It's kinda bad, seeing that I live in the subs (i.e. woods). Some few weeks ago, when we had that 4 days of nonstop rain... the pollen buildup was AWFUL.Of course, I had my car in the garage the whole time. :D

Not too bad up north in my neck of the woods. Of course it did snow briefly yesterday so I think we are a ways off in terms of getting nailed.

Interestingly, I saw on the Weather Channel this morning that Atlanta was the nation's number one city in terms of pollen in the air.

We've got lots of that pollen crap in my area too, and when it rains it just smears along the pavement. Some of my classes have had a big attendance dropoff on high pollen days. Eventually it'll get to the point where all of the potholes on I-40 and I-440 will be covered up with so much pollen that it would be like a puddle of water.

I saw the pollenated cars on the weather channel last night (yes I watch that channel, stop laughing) whats crazy too is that they said Atlanta is the number one city for pollen and augusta georgia is second. Phoenix does not have to worry about pollen, their number 50.

The pollen in Atlanta is...ugh. I seriously couldn't even breathe one morning after I took my dog out for a walk. Stupid pine...WHEN WILL THEY PRODUCE THE SEEDS, ALREADY?!

Well, I visited my car for the first time in two weeks today, and sure enough, I had the same problem as Knux. I don't use my car all that often, because I live on campus and pretty much everything is within biking distance, but every now and then it comes in handy, so I leave it parked at a UT lot.

And today, my blue car had turned nearly solid yellow from all the pollen. It was incredibly gross. This is the first allergy season in my entire life where I finally convinced the 'rents to spring for an allergy prescription, so this spring hasn't been nearly as bad as past ones have for me, but still get grossed out looking at the stuff.

Fortunately, a local sorority was having a bikini-clad carwash fundraiser across the street from where I park my car, and I had some extra cash. Fate smiled upon me today...

Wow, we don't have much pollen in Arkansas... maybe it is just the part of AR where I live...

Don't have much pollen here in NY right now...but I've never experienced a pollen outburst like some of you guys have. If I lived there, I would've been sneezing all day...since I'm allergic to pollen.

But since it might get worse, the end of school year and people just don't want to sit next to me any more.

One thing I don't miss about Atlanta is the pollen. But just today I started having my own allergy problems from blooming stuff around here. But it's supposed to rain/snow later in the week, so that shouldn't last too long:rolleyes:

Fortunately for my area the pollen season is just about over. Now we can stop having all that yellow crap fall on our stuff.
