Sweet!
It's only now that I realize that Akira Toriyama had it right all along-- nuanced storytelling and film noir atmosphere will ultimately always lose out to explosive fight scenes. Therefore I'm pleased to announce that I'll be retconning the final episode of Cowboy Bebop and replacing it with a far superior episode in which Spike, overcome with rage against Vicious, reaches a transcendant state known as Super Bounty Hunter x1,000,000 in which his hair turns blond, his eyes turn blue, and he destroys much of the planet Mars. After Julia, the reformed Vicious, and the rest of the population of Mars are restored to life through the precise arrangement of the seven Blue Bounty Balls according to Galactic Feng Shui, the stage is set for the wacky adventures of Son Spike and his friends in four hundred and twenty upcoming episodes of Cowboy Bebop GTXNiner!
Pleased with the news, Adult Swim has pledged to air an episode every night for the next year and change.
