Why in all that's holy hasn't any company licensed a Teen Titans game of any sort? I know the DC Universe is fraught with video game peril (as much as I love Batman Beyond, the video game SUCKED), but I'm surprised I haven't seen ANY info on a potential TT game.

Am I just out of the loop?

i agree, the question is "WHY?" are they making us suffer to a whole new level? WHAT IS WRONG WITH DC NOT MAKING TT GAMES??!?

Well, the Batman:TAS game, Rise of Sin Tzu was enjoyable. Not a great game by any stretch, but it did bring some element of multiplayer and replay into the mix, and for that I'm greatful.

And I'll be truthful, I'd rather see NO TT game, than someone like Bam! come in, jump on the license, and release some absolute horrible excuse for a game.

Capcom, make it like Devil May Cry.

A Titans game would have to be curtailed a little bit (Raven's power and Beast Boy's power are two examples which would be hard to totally transfer, you could literally move/break apart anything in the landscape to use as a weapon with Raven - actually that might work after all. But BB would be hard, what animals would you leave out of his repoirtoire? Maybe you could just limit him to the Gorilla and the other morphs he uses) but once you got a good engine with it, it'd be great.

Instead of 'interchanging between character/stereotype/cliche to best fit the context of the strategy needed' thing like in games like Zelda: Majora's Mask you could have a different take on it. There's of course the possibility of multi-player; but I think there should be an emphasis on using the entire team even when you're just by yourself. Maybe something like Perfect Dark's sims/those wingmen in Rogue Squadron.

Spot the guy who doesn't own any current generation consoles.

Anyway, to make the game worthwhile you would of course have to make Robin as 'Martial Arts/Nimble Guy'; Cyborg as 'Slow Musclebound Robot Enforcer', maybe Raven as the 'Weak But Powerful with Magic Mage' and so on.

Some videogame cliches are fun. Starfire could be your 'Long Range Specialist', Beast Boy however is open-ended and if enough thought is put into his attributes, he could be a good character.

The possibility of plowing through endless armies of Slade-esque robots appeals to me as much as it does when it happens on the show, however.

If they choose to do something like making the game like an actual episode with Acts then it could work. Aftershock Part 1 I'll use as an example, if that was a game you'd be split into three levels at least - Plasmus and the amount of problems he gave to BB and Cybord; Robin and Starfire versus Cinderblock doing what he was doing to keep them occupied for however long he was doing it; and Raven up against Sparky or whatever you call him, than Terra.

That is more along the lines of the entire level being one big long Boss Stage.

Deep down inside developers know none of these new superhero cartoons deserve a videogame.

I think a reason why there is no TT game is beceause Robin is part of the Batman license.

Teen Titans is prime pickings for a 4 player beat 'em up like Ninja Turtles.

Raven and BB would be a little tough to get "just right". But they'd probably have a way to unlock moves. Actually making it have RPG elements like X-Men: Legends would be fantastic.

The other thing they could do is a simple 2D fighting game. They have a flash game that's pretty good so why not elaborate on that idea?

I have to agree with Hyper on two accounts. First thing that came to mind when TT game was mentioned was a beat 'em up like TMNT. I think that would be fairly easy to do, but after some thought, I do think making it more like X-men Legends would be the best thing. I think that game really set the bar for team licensed/based games. An easy way to give each character some variety in moves/techniques and they have plenty of titans they can use.

No developer has even attempted to buy the rights. So any hope of getting a game within a year and a half seems out of the picture.
