Could this be the home stretch for Sealab?

The final episode must have explosions in it and Murphy

THIS I DEMAND!

interesting idea but all of the scene transistions to "earlier" got annoying as did the announcer. this episode was about nothing at all and just plain stank and I can't watch the rest

Could this be the home stretch for Sealab?

I'll beleive it when I see the card. *L* Like they would deny MC Chris his fallback job.

Last week, Sealab had a chance to pound a stake in the heart of their own obsession with cloning "Feng Shui." They didn't. This week, they blend "Memento" with "Superfriends."

The result? An ugly hybrid about ugly hybrids.

All credit to them for breaking format with the episode structure somewhat (they're just now doing a "Memento" parody? How many YEARS ago was that movie?) but uhhh . . .the stripper in front of the two guys was oddly transleucent. Might have wanted to have fixed that.

And Superfriends homages are pretty tired, especially when nothing much is really done with it beyond parodying the narration and the transitions.

In a nutshell, this episode would have been a triumph of style of substance but . . .didn't have much style. It also didn't have anything in the way of humour either, and for some reason felt like it was 20 minutes rather than 11 (it really REALLY dragged). And Sealab trying to be funny by fessing up to them not being all that funny anymore is more tragic than funny.

If I worked on this show, I'd take it out on major hotels too. F-

What the hell was this? This was horrible and made me glad in some sense that Sealab is cancelled. The mood of the last part seemed to be good, and this macabre kidnapping atmosphere should have been most of this episode, not some insane mishmash of transitions.

Thank God you're getting cancelled, because you don't need to be banned from using the Superfriends transition music ever again!

I liked it. It has the randomness that made Sealab good. Plus the return of Grizzlebees. Good job, Adult Swim. I hope future episodes stay on track.

Overall grade: A-

For me, this episode was enjoyable. There weren't too many laugh out loud moments, but the ending was funny as hell. For me anyway. It worked its way from end to beginning to the finish. If the next episodes are the last of the batch, then I guess that I will have to enjoy them to the fullest.

EDIT: How the hell did Quinn's groupie get by S&P saying BLOWJOB?

Ahh, the pause that refreshes. :) Now all I need is a card from [as] acknowledging that this is the end, and I'll consider it fully confirmed.

It's not even about it being official, I just want to see [as] do a card turning on a show they crammed down our throats at every opportunity the more unfunny it became.

The funniest part of this episode was when the announcer mentioned how much the script for this episode sucked. I laughed out loud at that one.

I'm going to miss Sealab but it did have a good run. Episodes like this are going to make me miss it.

this episode was about nothing at all
So it's a perfect parody of Seinfeld? :p

Loved:
-The narrator, especially his "This script is retarded" joke.
-Grizzlebees, the only thing left that is consistently funny.
-Quinn's Seinfeld joke after the credits.

Indifferent/Hated:
-Everything else. Just what the hell was Stormy eating? I know it's produced from stemcells, but what exactly was it?

That'd be the Shrabster that was advertised from Grizzlebee's. They crossed cells of a shrimp, a lobster, and crab to create some of the nastiest looking yellow T-bone steaks (so it appeared.) Stormy is allergic to shell-fish but kept eating it, hahaha.

Buy the boxsets, or look for reruns.

At least they acknowledged it was ripped off from Seinfeld.

I love bloopers and stuff like that, but I've watched my Tivo recording of this scene four times and I don't see anything unusual. The stripper in the foreground looks opaque (as does everything else in the scene). Am I missing something, or looking at the wrong thing?

You have never seen it, watch the reruns on Fox or TBS, its one of the funniest shows to ever air.

I think I know why the ratings have been so good lately.

Obviously, if this message board is any example, everyone dislikes the show so much that they watch it every week just to have something to ***** about.

I thought it was all the "Butch Cassidy" fans, myself. Those guys are seriously militant.
