That Teen Titans x Beavis and Butthead crossover was CLASSIC.
Robin dressed up like a Gundam (I believe it was Shining Gundam) was just...great. (Now I'm told it was God/Burning Gundam. Whatever, close enough.)
I also liked the Peanuts parody, as well as the Benny Hill skit and the "ruining movie twists" skit.

SLEEPAWAY CAMP. This show will reference anything.
Funny Star Wars sketch. Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker just tops it. The Peanuts Gang dancing in hell with Satan...wow. Good episode.

Yet another episode that makes me question why WS isn't allowed to make fun of any of the current DCAU properties, but this show gets away with it.
GIVE US THE AQUAMAN SHOW ALREADY!!

Really funny.
Too bad they couldn't get the real voices of the people from Teen Titans or Mike Judge for B&B.
Also the Benny Hill skit wasn't as funny as it should've been. They should've used "Yakkity Saks" and not the cheap ripoff
Robin dressed up like a Gundam (I believe it was Shining Gundam) was just...great.I think the chest was Wing Gundam. But yes, that rocked.
I loved all the Twist Endings (except for the shemale jokes), the Teen Titans, the Snail riding the Turtle, most of the Charlie Brown stuff, man this was awesome! One of the best episodes yet.
I was kinda hoping they'd use the Pumpkinhead doll itself, but I guess since it's a Macfarlene toy it doesn't work well for stop-motion.
It was kinda weird that they couldn't get the TT VAs (time shouldn't have been much of a problem since only Robin had more than 2 lines) or the theme song. Eh, probably budget reasons, I guess.

The ending was the best part. For some reason, I fell in the floor laughing at the peanuts gang in hell dancing with Satan. I loved the revelations of the plot twists skit also. I have to agree, the Village sketch hit the nail on the head. Over all, I give this episode a 4/5.

The Teen Titans/Beavis and Butthead sketch was great. I didn't catch Mike Judge's name in the credits, either they had some good impersonator or the credits went too fast.
Other highlights:
Snail and turtle
The Great Pumpkin's killing spree
Benny Hill's funeral
Stoopid Monkey lighting himself on fire

HILARIOUS! Best one yet.
Best sketches:
"Twist Endings"- Mark Hamill acting Luke was great, but then add in all of Vader's extra lines "As a child, I built C-3P0!"..."And the force? It's actually bacteria in your blood called midichlorians."
"Teen Titans"- I was rolling on the floor. I couldn't believe they were parodying an original CN show..."That chick has orange boobs." and "You're just angry because goth music sucks." were both priceless.
"Peanuts"- Satanic Linus, lesbian overtones and Charlie Brown kicking Lucy and calling her a b*tch...friggin' awesome.
Best RC ever...so far.

This episode was great! I'd say it's the second best epsiode so far! The Star Wars skit was classic. I didn't expect them to make fun of Teen Titans and adding Beavis And Butthead to that skit was priceless and original! Also liked the Charlie Brown skit with the Great Pumpkin killikng everybody.

Stars Wars Alternate Ending - Good
Teen Titans - Funny (Gundam Suit=Really Good)
Peanuts & The Great Pumpkin - The best ("Say Hello to the Kite Eating Tree you son of a b*tch!")
Umm...What is Sleepaway Camp?("Somebody actually remember that movie?!" :D) i never saw that.

Liked the Star Wars sketch the best, the Charlie Brown one second. The TT one, on the other hand, was just kinda stupid (in my opinion, at least)
The episode on a whole was pretty funny, though.

My checklist -
+ Plot Twists
- Teen Titans
+ Benny Hill
- Peanuts
I missed the first few minutes, thankfully my friend told me it was on. I thought the benny hill funeral was a nice homage, beavis & butthead with the teen titans was certainly interesting, not to mention the battlesuit being robin's head on what looked to be like a gundam or something. The peanuts with the great pumpkin was really good, the funeral/middle was a bit slow, but finishing it off with the kite-eating tree was hilarious.

The Star Wars ending was great.
The Teen Titans sketch was decent despite the fact that it featured two of the most annoying animated characters ever created.
The Benny Hill sketch was the highlight for me. I couldn't stop laughing throughout the entire skit.
The Peanuts sketch started out pretty uninteresting (especially the kicking Lucy and lesbian Patty jokes, both of which were already done on Family Guy), but it got better as time went on.

A great episode. The Peanuts horror story was hysterical, as was the "twist endings revealed" sketch. But the best sketch had to be Benny Hill's Funeral. I laughed so hard I cried.
The episode did have a few downsides. Uncle Sam farting the national anthem was nasty (Fart jokes are low enough, but a poop joke? Come on.), and the "Teen Titans meets Beavis and Butthead" sketch was stupid- it was a smart idea but they didn't do much with it. The biggest downside, though, had to be that (during the car chase sketch) I actually predicted after the cars drove by that a safe would crush him. The show's starting to become repetitive. But, again, overall it was a great episode. 4/5

I'm glad I caught this episode. This one was great/hilarious. Even the grossout national anthem was decent as social satire.
The highlight was of course Vader spoilering the things that Star Wars fans hate about the evolution of the franchise.
The Teen Titans w. Beavis & Butthead was the weakest part of the show, but it still got a laugh out of me. (Heh, "You're just pissed 'cuz Goth music sucks.")

I liked this episode espcially the Peanuts spoof. It was hilarious that i almost fell out of my chair laughing especially the ending where the rest of the Peanuts Gang had to spend the rest of there lives in hell. They dance in hell with Satan that was werid but funny. But what i didn't get was how the rest of gang died? I know that we see Linus and Lucy get killed by the Great Pumpkin but how did the rest get killed and end up in hell with Satan? I know the Great Pumpkin did it but how he did he kill them? That's never explained. I guess the creators animated there deaths but they were cut due to running time. They should have made the show longer to add those scenes. The ending was stupid a little scary and funny. Anybody who thinks it's scary should just not watch it not that i'm afraid of it.
This Peanuts Sketch kind of reminded me of "South Parknuts" from "Mad TV" But that one had Snoopy killing everyone and Charlie Brown and saying "Howdee Ho!" Despite a dumb ending. It had to end somewhere but in a scary but silly ending.
The other Sketch's with Teen Titan's and Beavis and Butt head and the rest were good except the alternate twist endings skit. I didn't care for that one. The part with the spoofing "The Village" was wrong. There was one rule for spoofing a movie. "Don't spoof a movie that nobody liked." Seth Green should of learned his lesson for spoofing a movie that nobody liked despite grossing 100 milion dollars. Roger Ebert hated "The Village" and he put it in his list of Worst Films of the Year.
But anyway i liked the episode and Robot Chicken is really becoming a hit for Adult Swim so far.
Wow. This is the first episode of Robot Chicken that made me laugh at a few parts. I liked the Star Wars thing and the Teen Titans and Peanuts parts were entertaining.

All around pretty dam funny, perhaps the best yet. The show sometimes crosses the line between edgy funny and edgy non-funny. I don't even mean from a viewpoint that some things may be too "sacred" to make fun of, but that sometimes the actual shock factor kills the humor, like the guy crapping his pants. But this episode is lighter than the others, which works to its benefit, WHILE I have been trying to appreciate darker humor lately, or otherwise I might've not enjoyed the ending in hell, which I did enjoy. I think too much.
I loved all the main skits, the SW one spoiling the future crap, various other movies, the Charlie Brown skit, and the TT one, although it could've used some work. Loved the "Nah nah nah BATMAN!" :D Was it just me, or did Raven look like she was powering up to go all demon on B&B's asses, only to pewter out or something? Would've thought the goth comment would've put her over the edge.
P.S. Kinda weird seeing all their spoofs being on stuff decades old, or at the most a few years old, like the "Matrix" and "Meteor-Destroying-The-Earth-Movies", and then have stuff REALLY recent, like "Teen Titans" and "The Village". Anyone notice that?

Personally, I don't think it was necessary to show how the Great Pumpkin killed the rest of the Peanuts gang since it was obvious that he ate them a la the Van Pelt kids.
As for the episode: Loved the Star Wars bit and the Peanuts parody.
BTW, was anyone else expecting the Wonder Twins as the two new Teen Titans instead of Beavis and Butt-Head?

I think I've made myself clear when I say I don't like this show, but I had to comment on Teen Titans/Beavis and Butthead. Definitely not funny. They had a good concept but I thought it was weak because it almost reminds me of the time when Step by Step had those impostor Beavis and Butthead guys. They didn't do anything funnny with either TT or B&B, they just were there. I'll repeat myself: This show has good concepts, ones that I should instantly like, but the execution just stinks. I guess my opinion of Robot Chicken is just like Matt Wilson's opinion on Megas XLR.
On an end note, I agree with Nin-Nin, let the Aquaman show air damn it!! Robot Chicken gets away making fun of Teen Titans (a show that is really hot on Cartoon Network) and Batman and Robin but we can't see a show that makes fun of Aquaman, a character who is sparingly used on Justice League (with a different look might I add). The only thing I can guess is that the episodes make fun of DC characters too much in the show?

An obscure 80's slasher horror flick that's only remembered by cult movie fans today because the ending was/is considered fairly shocking. Its been awhile so I can't recall exactly, but I think its the first slasher flick to use a camp setting, and was one of the things rip-offed in the orinigal Friday the 13th. (I haven't seen either, and the only later Jason flick I saw was Jason X, so I can't comment on either of the earlier movies' qualities.) I do recall that the first F13 was deliberately rip-offing Halloween though (I think the director's own words.), but we all know how it started its own thing and outgrew its rip-off roots, and now is the more popular slasher.
Hehheh, gotta love the whole Darth Vader Vs. Luke scene. "I AM YOUR FATHER!" "Princess Leia is your sister!" "The Empire is defeated by Ewoks!" "As a child I built C3PO!" "The Force? Its just microscopic bacteria in your bloodstream...", while calming chilling with each other and having a smoke :p

I think I've made myself clear when I say I don't like this show Okay. There are other threads, y'know. As well as other things to watch on TV. Maybe.
Benny Hill sketch > Movie Twists sketch > Beavis and Butthead and Teen Titans sketch > short interstitial sketches > Peanuts.
I dunno. It had some funny bits, but I guess because Charlie Brown et al are practically sacred to me, I couldn't really get more than a smirk at much of the jokes. "STRONG CHRISTIAN OVERTONES!" was funny, though.

Okay. There are other threads, y'know. As well as other things to watch on TV. Maybe.
Thanks for the reminder. But this is a talkback thread, and not only the "praise Robot Chicken" thread. I keep trying to give the show a chance each week because I keep trying to find something good out of it. Like I said earlier, the Teen Titans/Beavis and Butthead skit had potential but just didn't work out. I am a Beavis and Butthead fan and thought they could have been a pretty good touch to the show, so that is why I felt the need to comment.
I think that if the Sealab threads have multiple complaints every week it wouldn't hurt the Robot Chicken boards to have at least 1. As for other things to watch on TV, nope not really (well not on the stations my college has.)
If you want some positives IMO, here are some:
+ Nun sitting on the bike (I got a laugh from that)
+ The tree eating the monster in Charlie Brown
+ Beavis and Butthead commenting on Starfire's orange boobs
Sketch
03-28-2005, 05:46 AM
Teen Titans? Wow... I didn't expect anything that recent. Funny thing was I like that Robin better than Menvilles voice. Heh... Bevis and Butthead certainly don't make good Titans though. The best part was that they even made fun of the Engrish opening! Fantastic! And I completely agree... There is no good reason for Aqua Man's show not to air since RC has used Superman/Lex Luthor, Batman and Robin and now the Teen Titans.
Oh my word the Charlie Brown sketch was BRILLIANT!!!
It had everything!
Poking fun at every concept and every character and even the moral standards.
Gotta love 'ol Chuck finally getting one up on Lucy.
"I SAID STRONG CHRISTIAN OVERTONES"... Oh man... that was awesome
This show will truely go anywhere and I must say again... I demand TMNT and PR references!!! I demand them I say!!!
not to mention the battlesuit being robin's head on what looked to be like a gundam or something.
It looks like it was made from a couple different Gundam figures. The chest looks like Wing Gundam (though the vents seemed different), while the crotch plate was from Burning/God Gundam, though upside down, and I don't know where the legs or arms came from. I did notice that those "belt flap" things that protect the Gundam's leg joints were missing, though.

Mark doing Luke was great and Vader's stuff was funny hehehe.

Anyone that watched Time Squad has an idea of who Benny Hill was. The Naked Winston Churchill episode.
I do. I also watched old reruns of Benny Hill on my local station WGTW 48.
That being said, this episode was...okay. I didn't like the first part with the guy farting the National Anthem, but everything else was great, except maybe for the Charlie Brown thing at the end. I felt like there were some scenes missing or it should have been done better (maybe it's because I've watched parodies of Charlie Brown on SNL [the sketch where Charlie Brown (played by Brendan Fraser) gets injured in yet another football practice from Lucy (played by Ana Gasteyer), the Night-Line cold opening where the Peanuts gang mourn the loss of their creator, Charles Schulz, and the TV Funhouse on the Al Gore/Phish episode where the Peanuts gang discover that they can change the world by waving their arms around)], Mad-TV (the Peanuts/South Park hybrid "South Park-Nuts" and the ghetto version "Happy V-D, Chucky Brown"), and The Fairly Oddparents ["The World of Walnuts"].
But I did like the Teen Titans Meet Beavis and Butthead short. B&B should have done more destruction on the Teen Titans, though.
But all in all, it was solid.

Benny Hill, Charlie Brown, and Star Wars were all good. I was laughing at the Benny Hill one especially...it's just my kind of humor. :p
"I said STRONG CHRISTIAN OVERTONES!" Yeah, it's been said but it's just too awesome.
The one I didn't like was the Teen Titans. Alright, I will give them props for making fun of one of Cartoon Networks hottest current shows..but that's where it ends. It just wasn't funny. Even I liked the original Bevis and Butthead, but thought this was crap. Not to mention is dragged....
It has some major pacing problems for one thing....and it has alot of good concepts. If they learn to utilize them better, this show would be top notch.

At the very end, when Charlie Brown said meet the pie eating tree you sick son of a *****(I don't that was censored so it should be allowed on AS forum). And that was that. Partly because it so unexpected, not only what Charlie said but also a pie eating tree appearing at the right moment. A Deus ex Machima ending if one ever existed. Funny when he was looking at the sun, its over, they can finally rest in piece. You don't think Charlie Brown was that kind of guy. Also liked how they referenced past movies of Charlie Brown. The lesbian thing wasn't that funny as Family Guy took a crack at it a long time ago.
Also I didn't catch the tutle/snail thing.
Overall a pretty good ep, though not one of the best.

The lesbian thing wasn't that funny as Family Guy took a crack at it a long time ago.
Also SNL...twice.
Also I didn't catch the tutle/snail thing.
Considering that turtles and snails are slow animals, the snail riding the turtle thinks it's a fast ride.
And I didn't catch the nun/bike thing until I saw it again. Also, I didn't think the Twist Ending show was funny until the part where the guy comes in during the "Sleepaway Camp" twist ending and says, "Oh my God! Someone remembered this movie and put it in a comedy sketch!" and the man revealing that he's actually three ducks.
OK, this episode raises a few questions.
Hell, it raises a lot of questions!
Is Seth Green entitled to special treatment in being able to mock Teen Titans, not to mention content wise?
How much does Mark Hamil need to paid on a week-by-week basis? (It seems like Hamil is becoming a regular VA)
Will there ever be a Robot Chicken that scores with every single skit?

Yes, I agree. Threads shouldn't just be filled with praise for the show. As long as the poster actually watches the show then they should be allowed to express their feelings for a show regardless of whether or not they like the show. If I catch the new episodes of Tom Goes to the Mayor in a few weeks then I may post on the talkback threads. Of course, I'm hoping the episodes have actually improved since last season so I'll try to give the new episodes a chance.

Well the entire gag with the Teen Titans wasn't a complete failure by adding Beavis and Butthead. Afterall they pointed out she was teh n00bz with teh b00bz. Plus it looks like they used some 1/188 Gundam RX-87 models to make those suits. Yet the fact still remainds that they can make fun of DCAU shows while we still can't see the Aquaman Show. A show that is funnier and is better paced than Robot Chicken.
Also the Benny Hill and Star Wars gags were the highlights for me. Everything else I really glazed over.

The Teen Titans/Beavis and Butthead sketch was great. I didn't catch Mike Judge's name in the credits, either they had some good impersonator or the credits went too fast.
I hope you're either kidding or just haven't seen B&B in a long, long time - those voice impressions were AWFUL. Just outright bad, which distracted my ability to enjoy that sketch at all. The person doing Butthead was moderately somewhat almost relatively close to being close, but Beavis' (Seth Green) voice was just horrendous. Very, very badly done.

That was a hoot. Gundam Robin (Did they diliberaly make him sound like Quatre for a resaion there?) Benny Hill: The funeral, Charle Brown stabbing all his show's cleachés (Who else cheared when he kicked her? and the poor pass @ Brown's way of screaming rocked) The "Served" gag cought me out!

If thats what the great pumpkin is then you can keep it the hell away from me. The TT and B&B skit was my second favorite in that episode next to Peanuts, what can I say I like Peanuts gang. That twist ending one, only one I watch as a movie is the Star Wars and me and My friend had a good laugh over that one. Beavis and Butthead say the classic Batman theme infront of Robin. Beavis and Butthead got nachos their favorite food. Good episode hope there is more.

It hasn't really picked up for me, but I think they're settling into a comfortable level of mediocrity. I can see what they're going for. And if they were any good, they would get it. But I can at least see now that they're going for funny.
Star Wars made me smirk and the emphasized line "Strong Christian overtones!" in the Peanuts thing made me stop reading for a few seconds and look at the screen.
