I thought this was a great Christmas ep!!!:D

1. That Brain guy looked like a pint-sized Hannibal Lecter!

2. G.L.A.D.I.S. going nuts reminded me of Hal from 2001: A Space Odyssey!

3. Hard to believe Mandy's mom is just as nasty as she is! I mean when she bought the entire shoe-store chain just so Clover couldn't buy that last pair of designer boots.

4. The jet chase was, IMO, the best part! Very Star Wars-like!:D

5. At the end, I absolutely loved when Clover decided to give those boots to Mandy. A very sweet thing to do!:anime: Too bad Mandy got all bratty when she saw Clover's new boots as a gift from her dad. I'm glad Clover buried her with the fake snow! She deserved it.:p

I give this ep 5 stars! Great job, girls! Especially you, Clover!;) :anime: :D

*sigh*Another religious free Christmas episode. Is it too much to ask for a tiny, almost unnoticible manger scene in the background, or, you know, something to recognize that there are people who actually believe in the religious aspect of Christmas?

Anyway, this was still a pretty good episode. It had some 2001 and Silence of the Lambs references.

I can't believe Clover stole those boots from that poor girl. I mean, she just walked out there and stole them! Eeeeeevil.

At the end, I absolutely loved when Clover decided to give those boots to Mandy. A very sweet thing to do!:anime:
She only gave them to her because she thought they were worthless and out of style. She's very shallow, but for some reason, I like her that way.

Apologize for the lateness in this review... as usual, watched the Friday encore... but forgot I took notes on it until now. That... and all of the April Fool's Day stuff shoved this talkback off the first page.

- The agents at the party once again begs the question... why are Sam, Alex, and Clover the only ones we see out in the field on a regular basis, in their spy outfits, and how come they are the only female agents (excluding Britney, of course) present? It makes me think WOOHP (or just Jerry in particular) just wants some young, nubile blood in the organization.
- I'm not a fan of chemistry... I hate it... but does the whole 'acids and bases counter each other' technique work directly on electronic circuits? Hmmm... maybe this is one of those 'scientific liberties' many cartoons tend to take.
- I can't believe Sam said not to hurt Santa, and, later on, Clover actually used her spy status to take someone else's boots!

Funny thing is... despite seeing the girls in Mrs. Claus outfits at the WOOHP party and the ending sequence... this didn't feel all that much like an X-mas episode. Weird... 8 out of 10.

Coming up shortly... review of tonight's episode in its talkback thread!

Sorry for the late reply... I had Mid-Terms and a couple of reports to do. :o Anyway, it was an all-right episode. I thought that it was typically cheesy (that's a good thing, believe me... :D ) I thought about the only memorable quote was Alex's:

"If only he had used his evil for good"

Eh, I'd give it a B- maybe...

3. Hard to believe Mandy's mom is just as nasty as she is! I mean when she bought the entire shoe-store chain just so Clover couldn't buy that last pair of designer boots. One of the finer moments in this episode. "Phoebes," as Mandy calls her mom, bought the store in 4 seconds. Even if you do like Clover, you have to admit, that utter ownage of Clover was pretty sweet.
I can't believe Clover stole those boots from that poor girl. I mean, she just walked out there and stole them! Eeeeeevil. It's Clover, so we shouldn't be surprised. She usually takes a "Me first" mentality.

- The agents at the party once again begs the question... why are Sam, Alex, and Clover the only ones we see out in the field on a regular basis, in their spy outfits, and how come they are the only female agents (excluding Britney, of course) present? It makes me think WOOHP (or just Jerry in particular) just wants some young, nubile blood in the organization.I think the girls wearing sexy Mrs. Clause outfits has more to do with their personalities rather than Jerry's preferences. They're teenagers who want to show a little Christmas spirit, so they're aren't just going to show up in regular clothing.

Did anyone notice GLADIS was wearing a Santa cap?

As for the rest this post, I'll just copy and paste what I posted on another forum.

Other random thoughts:
At the very beginning of the episode, how did The Brain able to Jedi mind trick the WOOHP security dude? The Brain was shown to be a genius but that doesn't mean he can control people against their will.

When Jerry was caught in GLADIS' clutches, Sam didn't shoot her/it because she didn't know where GLADIS' hard drive is. When an evil computer is on the loose, who cares where the frickin' hard drive is! Just blast the holy hell out it until Jerry is freed and fix GLADIS later. I think the safety of the head of WOOHP would have been the highest priority in that siutation.

Alex is as smooth as always. She popped her invisibility shield for sake of candy...which she never got.

GLADIS: I taught you better than this Jerry.
An evil computer is bad enough but to make things worse, it becomes an arrogant SOB.

Clover must love those whatchamitcallit-boots to ask a WOOHP inmate to smuggle them in or abuse her WOOHP agent position and steal them from that girl while she was still wearing them.

When Sam was disarming those missles with the Palm Pilot, I noticed that she was selecting each one individually with the Palm Pilot pen. Wouldn't it have been easier if she just rolled the pen around screen instead picking each one?

Do the spies live that close to Mandy? And what did Mandy say at the very end? Her voice turned so squeaky that I couldn't make it out.

Oh yeah, good episode.

Do the spies live that close to Mandy?Just in case you didn't get this answered at the board you originally posted this on... yes. Unfortunately, the girls didn't know their new house was next to Mandy's... until after they had gotten settled in.
