As anyone from the UK (who has CN that is) will know, the new series of Foster's premieres on April 11th, so I went on the US CN website to have a sneak peek at what the episodes would be like and stuff. When I looked at the episode guide, I saw the first 10 episodes and I knew I'd seen all of those, but when I got to what I presumably thought was the new season, I saw episodes: 11) "Seeing Red + Phone Home" 13) "Berry Scary" and 16) "Who let the dogs in?"

Why would a season in the UK skip between certain episodes in the US (skipping ep 12 and 14-15), and why would there be a series of 13 episodes, then of 7 (because presumably, CN will show the 7 episodes as a season), or is this just CNUK's way of grouping episodes together?

I don't know, but I'll try to help.

Aside from the pilot, Foster's has aired in a jumble here. I'm guessing that's production order they have listed, and some episodes could have been finished before others.

Take this for example:

Look at the production numbers. They're out of order with the US premieres. See how it jumps from 001 to 005 to 007.

CNUK don't need to screw Foster's schedule around to say that they suck. Everyone knows that already. The TV Tome website showed all the episodes that have been shown so far in the UK as season 1, so I'm guessing this isn't just CNUK's fault then.

If CNUK had competition, they wouldn't suck so badly.

Also, if Turner had more channels in the UK, like TBS, TNT, and Turner South (but, even more than half the US doesn't), they wouldn't have as much money to waste on making Cartoon Network junk.

If they had a balance of revenue between, say, seven channels, then I'd say, Cartoon Network wouldn't have two spinoff channels. Our Cartoon Network may not be struggling, but it certainly knows how to operate (but still needs classics for balance).

I don't see why Boomerang can't air on two channels.
