Seth McFarlane's going to be on the Late Show with David Letterman on Monday, I assume he's going to talk about the new episodes of Family Guy and American Dad. Seems pretty early to start promoting them though, considering they're still a month away...

Wow...Letterman sucks...I mean, I'm not saying Leno's better or anything it's just wow, I was just incredibly bored during this show, I had to fight off my urge to change the channel. And of course they had Seth McFarland come out last. Ugh...anyway, the funniest part of the interview was when Seth admitted that Family Guy and American Dad are the exact same show because it was too hard to come up with an original idea. That was damn funny. I noticed how they failed to mention that Cartoon Network had anything to do with new episodes of Family Guy being picked up, instead only mentioning the DVDs. Of course, I suppose the DVDs did have a little more to do with the pick up than Cartoon Network, after all if it was only big ratings on Cartoon Network that prompted cancelled shows to be picked up then we would see new episodes of Futurama too.

You know, that Family Guy cut away was exactly what Letterman is like. I mean, he justs wastes time talking about crap. I mean, instead of bringing Seth Mcfarlane out at like 12:10 or whatever he talked about how the rainy day reminded him of the time he got drunk on a game show. And it wasn't even a funny story. I mean, he just talked about not knowing the answers because he was hung over that's it. He didn't puke on the host or say anything funny or anything. I mean, my drinking stories are way better than that. Did I ever tell you about that time when I broke into a construction site while drunk and climbed a crane? Anyway, is this how Letterman always is? Wasting 10 minutes just talking about crap that isn't even funny?

To me: Conan > '82-93 Letterman (a lot like Conan's show, actually) > Leno > '93+ Letterman > Kilborn (loved him on Daily Show, but don't find his talk show very funny).

Letterman's show isn't so much funny as it is wacky and spontanous. Anything can happen. You have to have the right taste for it. I totally do prefer him to Leno, though. Leno's show is not only less funny than Letterman's, but also lacks the spontaneity, which makes it one big dull Hollywood suck-up. Overall, though, Conan is the funniest. His show isn't very spontaneous, but that tightness is required for his comedy style.

I, uh, didn't see the interview.

Yeah, like Gwen said, "NOt to get this thread further off topic", BUT Leno is way more funnier than Letterman....ahem.....yeah Mr. McFarlene made a nice appearance on the show. I was also kinda mad that he ended up being last.

If he showed up last then I bet he probably did not have the time to show any clips of any new show episodes. I didn't see the appearance, but I think that would be the case.

I'm more evenly split between Letterman and Leno, they both have advantages.
