This is exactly the type of game I've been hoping Nintendo (and in this case, Capcom) would get off their duff and release (horribly wanting the surgeon DS game, with the stylus operations and sassy cute young doctor).

Wow. A very tempting reason to pick up the DS. Hopefully the game will have lots of replay value. And I can already imagine how the touch screen will fit into game play.

Sorry to bring this topic back from so long ago but I just had to chime in. I was able to find a copy of this game a week or so ago (the game is getting very rare if you didn't know) and OH MY LORD this game is made of WIN, GOD and ALL that is right in the universe. I'm only up to the third case but it's just SO funny, SO over-top, SO well-written, SO zany, etc. Everything about this game is comedic gold. Hell the game has some touching moments as well. People, if you can find it, BUY THIS GAME!!!!!!

Those who obsess over forensics and murder mysteries will absolutely love it. And like the gaming magazines said... the humor keeps it going.

There's only two downsides to Phoenix -- only 5 cases and very limited replay value (at least right away). I can't wait for the sequel/port of the Japanese prequels to it. My first DS game was worth my pennies.

I've heard rumors that Capcom has stopped production of Phoenix Wright (discontinued it), which makes it so rare indeed.
