Planet GameCube has the news from Nintendo Power revealing a little more on the DS Online plan and some more information on upcoming games.

That's interesting, I can imagine Katarmari Damacy making great use of the DS's touch screen for control and both Age of Empires and Zoo Tycoon seem like great picks for the DS functionality-wise. Animal Crossing indeed looks like an online killer-ap if I've ever seen one, I remember Reggie mentioning no monthly costs in an interview with Gamespy. This makes me glad I picked up a DS.
Also, it seems Atlus has updated their cryptic Snowboard Kids DS page (http://www.atlus.com/sbk.htm) with the character art from Nintendo Power.

Katamari DS? If this is true, I might just have to get one now. :D

Good to see Katamari Damacy coming to the DS. I never played the first one, but I know what the concept is, and I could see a pretty neat version on the DS.
The news about online through GameSpy is good, too. I still don't have a DS, though. Wish I did.

They revealed a LOT through the magazine (which I got today), which is unusual. Waiting to reveal big news until a magazine prints it is unheard of in this day and age, since most things are impossible to hide. But of course, this is Nintendo, and they're better at concealment then the US government!

Zoo Tycoon and Age of Empires are my must-haves for the DS now. I loved the PC games (I have all of the series of both), so I'm sure I'll love the DS games if whoever's developing them doesn't screw them both up in the process. Kinda weird having Microsoft games on a Nintendo console and such... although if I said Sonic on a Nintendo console 10 years ago I'd have been punched in the face by die-hard Nintendoids. :p

Having heard great things about Katamari Damacy, I'm glad it's coming to the DS. But I'm REALLY excited about Snowboard Kids DS- especially that they got rid of the funky-nosed freaks and replaced them with something cool looking.

Katamari Damacy for the DS will be an interesting game. They could just use the stylus and nothing else for the gameplay and still it would be good.
All they would need to do is to have a soundtrack just as good as the PS2 version. And in a game like KD, it's essential.
