No one is interested in even taking a nibble? Of course I am referring to the premiere of The Office which is tonight.

They had a review of it in today's Washington Post, and said it was pretty good, but the original was better.

With there being such defining differences to British and American culture, I'll be interested to see how this compares and what alterations were made to make it relatable to American audiences.

The whole essense of "The Office" is familarity of characters and events, I wonder how they will amend for another nation and those tiny aspects which make our two societies ever so slightly different.

What exactly was that Red Dwarf pilot like? The only British-to-American comedy pilot I've ever seen clips of is Dad's Army.

The only character spot on is Kryten. But only because they brought over Bob Llewyllen

Remember that episode where they meet the blob that, to each member of the crew, looks like their ideal woman? Well, they planned to remake that episode for the American one.
In the original, Cat saw the blob as himself. In the american one, the now-female Cat would have seen nine men. 'Cause cats have nine live, geddit?
