There are now only two third-party companies that I still have a decent amount of respect for - Square-Enix and Sega. I used to love Capcom. Then they ported 2 GCN exclusives that practically made the system onto PS2. And they aren't doing the same for us GCN owners? They get RE4 and VJ but we don't get DMC? It's not fair. And now Namco is making SC3 a PS2 exclusive. So help me God if they put Kratos in it...

Gamecube is essentialy dead, aside from Zelda there is nothing big name coming down the pipe. Scrounge up what games you are missing or that you want and move on...Really they seem to be putting all their cash on the Revolution and their duo of handheld systems.

It's the same thing with X-Box, Jade Empire is the last big name game, theyt oo have already moved onto planning for the next-gen system..

Its sad but kind of true. The thing is IMO I prefer these two systems over PS2 (I own all three) and think it is pretty lame that Gamecube gets the crappy end of things. Capcom kept claiming RE4 was exclusive then at the last minute (a few weeks before it came out) announced a PS2 version. I still like Capcom but think that's bad they went back on a promise to Nintendo.

You know, whether you like EA or not, you got to respect that they try to bring games out for every system (what system can you not get a Madden title on?) Other companies give people the short end of things, but companies like Activision and EA try to put out quality games on every system (even near the end of their cycles, they still supported N64 and PS1 during their dying days.) Oh well though, as long as good games come out period then I'm satisfied.

As for now, I'm gonna wait for next gen consoles to drop in price while I dig the bargain bins for some good Xbox, PS2, and Cube games!

You know, I don't mind that RE4 wasn't exclusive. I mind that they annouced it ahead of the release of RE4, thus destroying its sales. Bah..

According to Miyamoto, Mario 128 may be a Cube project, or it may be a Revolution project.

Conker 2 isn't really Conker 2, it's a remake of the original.

Kameo will more than likely be released on the Xbox 2.

Aside from Geist and Zelda, there isn't much else. It's about that time to start looking to the future.

Fire Emblem
Donkey Konga 2
Pokemon XD
Mario Baseball
Harvest Moon
Killer 7
Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory
TimeSplitters: Future Perfect
Etc.

Not all of those are GC excluive, but they are still being released for the Cube.

I'll admit, I was a little pissed when I found out Resident Evil 4 was being ported to the PS2, but I'm over it. What mainly annoyed me was the fact that Capcom kept saying over and over again Resident Evil 4 would be a GameCube exclusive and then last minute they pulled this discision out of nowhere going back on what they said.

Also, each system seemed to have their "big exclusive title". For PS2 it's Final Fantasy X, for X-Box it's Halo and for GameCube it was going to be Resident Evil 4. In some ways RE4 is still the big thing for the GameCube since the GCN version will most likely be supirior to the PS2 version, but still.

Thank you for giving all the Game-Cube haters that list. See what they say now. But we should add Kirby, Advance Wars: Under Fire, and, as the above poster said, Geist and Zelda.

I was just trying to make the point that the GC isn't dead. Let's not provoke folks further though.

Soul Caliber 3 is a PS2 exclusive? Maybe they're making up for giving PS2 users Heihaichi as an exclusive character on Soul caliber 2. I think they pissed off a lot of PS2 users by giving Gamecube and X-Box users cool exclusive characters and giving PS2 users some old fart from Tekken.

Really? Everyone was saying Metroid Prime 2 was the "big exclusive title" a few months ago...but it turned out no one cared about it...

I think Zelda will be the "Big exclusive game" for the cube. I think that Nintendo learned from the N64 when sales, already very low, practically stoped because in it's final year, Nintendo cut their support for the system. They arn't about to let sales stop because they cut support. They are determined to stay faithful to the end by giving cube owners like myself the best first and third-party games they can.(Well, since developers pretty much hate Nintendo, the third-party games are non-exsitent to a point)

Conker's single-player mode is a remake, but the multiplayer is a massive new campaign, with two time periods, storylines and such.
