From the futon critic (http://www.thefutoncritic.com/cgi/gofuton.cgi?action=newswire&id=6856):

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- One of our most frequently asked questions got answered today as FOX has finally scheduled the second season premiere of "Tru Calling."

The sophomore drama, which FOX confirmed in January won't be picked up for a third season (read the story), will debut with back-to-back episodes on Thursday, March 31 beginning at 8:00/7:00c. Said broadcast will replace the previously announced repeats of "The O.C." on the night ("The Family Ties" and "The Power of Love").

The following week, "Tru" will take over the Thursday, 9:00/8:00c slot currently occupied by "Point Pleasant." That series will head to hiatus while "The O.C." will remain at 8:00/7:00c.

You can read the full article (which has a synopsis of the 4/7 episode, among some other things) at http://www.thefutoncritic.com/cgi/gofuton.cgi?action=newswire&id=6856

I would like to take the time to say, I officially hate FOX and I will never forgive them for this.

I can't even believe that after they've officially cancelled this show - they're pre-empting another (far better, imho) show to air what amounts to half (or is it a quarter?) of a season of this. Considering it's been almost a year since the last season ended to boot.

There are what six, seven episodes made for the second season?

Six, the show was cancelled after they taped the 6th episode and ordered to pack up the sets.

They've already aired overseas. Reports say they're really good, new writers were hired for S2 (mostly ex-Buffy writers).
