What is with that new commercial that says Adult Swim is Sunday through Thursday? Aren't we past the whole "pretend Saturday doesn't exist" phase?

The return of Mr.Shin. I'm sorry that is one of the most funniest thing I ever seen in my life.
OK, so I'm finally sitting down to watch an actual episode of this.
Why aren't more of the character designs as awesome as Pastel Shin-san?
Kinkakuji, Kiyomizudera, Mt. Fuji, and... Toji? I've been to all those places, but I never realized they were so close together.
Why oh why did CN air all these obtuse references to Japanese people that no one's going to get? Even I didn't catch the vast majority of them.

Rerun discussion goes in the Anything Else thread, Twagey-boy. ^__^
Robot Chicken vs. Futurama. I love both. Who do I choose? Eh, I'll go with the new kid.

They mentioned the Animation Show after Robot Chicken. I took a look at its website, I see they have some new shorts for a new tour. Hopefully it'll come to my area, I'd love to see Don Hertzfeldt's new production.

because we all know adult swim never kids around with usOf course we do! Adult Swim is always uber-serious. They should seriously lighten up a bit.

lol Reign won :p I'm surprised they even mentioned the show since they lost the rights to it and all
action > comedy it seems!
AS did this just to piss off the fans, that's all.

Well, there hasn't been anything as mind-searingly bad as ASHDTV(when I remember an episode title of Sealab, that's usually not a good sign) this season of Sealab, so I don't mind it as much as I would have a few months ago.

And yet, if anyone made any comment about it NOT showing up there . . .you'd be spinning that tired "well, the top three doesn't really matter . . ." argument, so it's good to know you're gracious in dubious victory as you are in defeat. :)

Nah, I have learned to mind my manners on this board in regards to Sealab. I respect others opinions that Sealab has taken a dive, and at the same time maintain my support for the show. It is not everyone's cup of tea.

they're not serious... what the hell is this? Fullmetal vs reign and reign wins? is this a category for worst?Skipped the Action brackets, since the better "anime version of the NCAA tournament" is the one on the AnimeOnDVD forums (Go, Azumanga!).
I still haven't seen an episode of this latest batch of Sealab.. I guess it won't hurt to check out the encore. :p Robot Chicken continues to lead Sundays, looks like all the press that was around it has paid off, and I think it's performed pretty well under all the pressure. Lastly, nice to see FMA back in the 500k range. Saturday seems to be entrenched in that 1,2,3 order.

It's cool man. Wasn't a dig at you--just a general observation on how the "top 3" can go from "irrelevant" to "proof of RULZ-NESS" from week to week. Seemed like an opportune moment to make said observation.
Given the antipathy (OK, outright fiery hatred) of Sealab on this board, which I'm on the vanguard of, I respect that you've stuck to your guns and have been generally cool about it. :)

Unlike other boards *cough*Adultswim.com*cough*, you don't maliciously bash someone for enjoying a particular show, and instead, encourage people to form their own opinions.

SC will do better (it might even win the night a few saturdays,) PA will do worse (if 264 for GitS seemed bad, I could see PA dipping into the 124 neighborhood.) Atleast given prior data.

if its any consellation Sealab has only made the top 3 8/43 weeks (not counting Saturday/ATHF marathon/any times it wasn't on period) and it only once was the top rated show. oh yeah and 644,000 is a new ratings high for it so thats two new highs in one week for AS!
edit sorry WCM! I was checking the old schedules while you were replying I guess (the october 2004 one dont load at all  ) and I changed some stuff :( I wish the schedules went back all the way to last april then I could really figure out some stuff!

Because, as evidenced by the 644,000, it is still pulling in good ratings.

Finally, someone who agrees with me that abbreviations are evil. For years I couldn't figure out if ROFLMAO meant the poster was coughing up a hairball or chanting to an evil deity.
Don't tell me anyone thinks AS is teasing this announcement to tell everyone it's cancelled.
Considering the sheer amount of effort that WS has put into promoting, scheduling, and advertising the show, plus the fact that it's comedy, the odds are extremely unlikely.

I think we can assume the announcement will be confirming the renewal of the series. That being said, I wonder if there will be any other surprises. While unlikely, perhaps it is getting, say, an order for 26 more episodes instead of just 13.

If anyone wonders why the 18-34 ratings weren't posted last week it was because A.) I wasn't here, and B.) None of AS's shows did well enough to get on the top ratings list. Showings of Gladiator, The Truman Show, and South Park's return provided tough competition.
Except one over in 12-17, for the week ending March 13th:
3/10/05
Family Guy - 690,000
