lol....sac.
Kusanagi has two very large sacs on her chest.
And if she ever gave him a chance, she'd see that both Batou and the Chief do as well, though in a different area.

Hey it's that Jabba The Hutt looking guy from the Manga....
Hey it's that Jabba The Hutt looking guy from the Manga.... I also caught that. He sticks out like a sore thumb, though he was much, much uglier in the manga.

I also caught that. He sticks out like a sore thumb, though he was much, much uglier in the manga.Bah it's not as ugly a few of the other characters from the related series(i.e. Appleseed, Balck Magic)
really there's this one fat guy who's fingers and thumb seem to meld into his wrists(he appears to have no palms) and he has a chin that's like a DD cleavage
he's supposed to be the comic relief IIRC...he just looks fugly, not funny

You mean...you people just realised the innuendo...just now?
I felt this one came in under its potential. Interesting concept with "Blindwhatever Ivan" but they never really explained how it was happening. And they could've done a lot more with the assemblyman's "political suicide."

Eh, this one felt real phoned in to me. I really tried paying attention to what was going on but really wasn't feeling it. I did like the general idea of the Girls being kidnapped like that, but like Twage said so far (if they do ever explain it at all down the line) they haven't explained how they were able to just do that (What, they just invso run in and take the girls in the split second the camera glitches or something?) or why exactly the ring leader was tied down. I also found it hard to get into caring about the guy choosing between his career or his daughter either. Overall, it's episode like this that make me want them to get to the more Complex ones or something different then just regular GITS cases like this.
Highlights: The fight between Batou and the Old Ghost One Eyed Andriod Child Stealer, The major bulling a gun at her head, Armaki's plan.
Grade: 2 Stars Out of 5 Stars.

I agree that this episode was pretty meh-ish. I was expecting a lot of stuff to happen after the woman got away in the truck, but the episode just dragged on with Arameki's speech to get the woman. I thought that could've been explain briefly after they went through with the plan. And the confrontation outside the Embassy was very anti climatic; I was hoping there would be some cool gunfight, but after Batou stepped in, it was all over.
I give Captivated a C+.

And for the second time, Kusanagi's wearing some pants. Maybe they were just in the wash at the beginning of the season? ;)
This would have been better served as a two-parter.

You mean...you people just realised the innuendo...just now? Nah. Just following the innuendo already stated in this thread by adding more to it.

So we get an organization who's kidnapping young women to sell their organs, and in the process, the plot's ringleader is played for a patsy when she kidnaps a high-ranking politician's daughter.
The story just kinda flat-lined from there. This could've been more interesting... but it didn't develop that way.
7 out of 10 for "Captivated."

1. Um... that's truly a chop-chop shop. OK, that's just low. :p
2. Good thing Togusa forgot to shoot the truck's tires before it took off. Otherwise, fried hostages. :D
3. The spy kidnapper didn't even try to disguise for the taxi. The taxi driver would've ran away.
4. So now, the ex-PM is in Aramaki's debt. Politics.

If they were organ harvesting, why only kidnap girls?

Interesting concept with "Blindwhatever Ivan" but they never really explained how it was happening. Ah, that's what was missing. The beginning was very interesting, but an explanation... was necessary.

Ya know what? I only liked certain parts of that episode XD I really liked it when Togusa fought the spy cuz he BARELY "escaped" and then almost died XD It was funny when Batou called him a "dumbass" cuz you know they are so partners :p Batou practically saved Togusa twice, first from the gunshots and then again from the bomb, and it was interesting how he said his family flashed before him. HUMAN :anime: THEN when he thought Batou was refering to him it was funny cuz BATOU protected him so he prolly knew he was okay :D But the episode itself was kinda weird XD
I CANNOT WAIT FOR SATURDAYS EPISODE!!! :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying:
