Okay, someone forgot to do a talkback for the new DD episode that aired tonight (and will air again at 12:30AM) So I'll just make one now.
"VillianStruck" - Dodgers and Cadet have to stop a pretty boy villian named.... uh, I kindda forgot the name but he's voiced by Tim Curry, from flooding the earth in order for it to be a perfect blue. However, this guy's got everyone mesmorized under his celbertiy like status and handsomeness, inculuding our two heroes!
This was a pretty good but not that great episode. It was sort of like "Diva Delivery" except both Dodgers and Cadets showed signs of celebrity worshipness (espcially Dodgers) and the guy in question was evil. Tim Curry did a very good job making the characters come alive I'll admitt.
Highlights: I.Q High Asking for an autograph, The assistant quickly leaving when The Pretty Boy Villian fires him, Cadet fleeing to X2's ship and the ending with Cadet and Dodgers zapping off.
Grade: 3 Out of 5 Stars.
"Just The Two Of Us" - Cadet finally gets a vacation away from Dodgers, as do the Centaruions away from X2. Dodger's and X2's ship crash, which forces the Duck and The Martian onto a desert planet where they must band together to stay alive... or at least that's what the the Martin Commander thinks anyway.
Just about as good as the other episode. I thought it was nice to see Commander and Dodgers have so much screen time together (Joe must of put in a lot to be voicing all of they're scenes) and the Cadet/Centaurions subplot was also fun. It could of been better (maybe have them crash land a bit earlier for more time in the desert or something) but it was still pretty good.
Highlights: Dodgers sleep record (although didn't he sleep for three days in "Samurai Quack?" That's more then 34 hours), the Cadet and Centuarions hanging around at the beach and playing volleyball with the single female nurse team, Dodgers stealing Commander's last match and then at the end having a Wilson like cocunut.
Grade: 3 Out of 5 Stars.
Overall: 3 Out of 5 Stars.
