NOTES
We may be waiting a while for a new episode after tonight.
Second straight 22-minute episode. Hooray!!
It's go time!!

P.S. I hope this was okay for me to create this topic. I read the topic on these types of topics. If not, my apologies.
LOVE Bloo as a human. "Orlando Bloo" was great.

That was a sweet n' funny episode. This should have aired on Valentine's Day but oh well. A Prince Charming imaginary friend. I didn't know that there were imaginary friends that take the form of humans.

Pretty good first half, but the restaurant scene was outstanding. I was personally laughing out loud several times in the span of a minute. Keith Ferguson was great.
My problems with the episode were one major and one minor.
Major: Mac and Chris the pizza guy both thought Frankie liked them because of mistaking what others said, while Princie was meant to think stuff like that by instinct. But Bloo "catches" a kiss blown to Mac and thinks she's in love with him? Huh?
Minor: Frankie's early outfit (The one that made Mac and Bloo flip out) looked both like something out of the 80s and Mimi from Duel Masters. The one she wore later looked normal.
Then again, why do I bring that up? I'm not a fashion expert, and Craig McCracken's drawing style is too cartoony for me to find anything attractive.

Yeah, the dreaded kid x elder crush episode:
1. See? This is the reason why young ladies shouldn't kiss little boys! :anime:
2. How the heck does Bloo know what's "hot?!" Even fighting for a kiss! :o
3. Bloo is the type of person who is very frustrating to talk to. You know the type!
4. Haha! Serves Bloo right for a motormouth who can't just shut up! So now, the paper missiles don't work anymore! :p
5. Prince Charming and his cheezy pickup lines! (C'mon ladies, ya agree with me on that, doncha?) Even Frankie saw right thru it! Only dorks, kids, and things would use those, right?
6. Oh oh, an unholy alliance of rejected suitors! Very funny how Bloo kept making fun of Mack, and how Mack later knew it was coming. :)
7. Oh no! Not the dreaded sneaky disguise and lady crash the date trick!
8. Poor Frankie. Earned a tough major but treated as a maid at her Grandma's foster home.
9. Heheh, the ex-BF "Orlando Bloo(m)" and the Prince charming Frankie at the table... And did the Prince just go into the ladies room?!
10. Frankie = piece of meat. Now, she's also treated as property. :ack:
11. Now, Frankie has the problem of crushes. I reiterate: See? This is the reason why young ladies shouldn't kiss little boys! ;)

This episode was just so cute! And it answered some questions about the human/imaginary world.
Bloo is five years old but concidered an Adult because Imaginaries come into existance fully formed.
Prince charming friend proves that some imaginaries can take the form of a human, (but don't nessesarily act like one) Although I've got a feeling that Princie was most likly built like a Ken doll if you know what I mean ;)
Was it just me? Or did Mac's mouth look weird, it looked weird in "Partying..." too. Also this was the first episode where the trio (wilt, coco and ed) didn't make an appearance (although frankie mentions wilt breifly) I need my weekly Wilt fix! but it's good to know that frankie has a life outside of foster's.

LOL, yeah, Mac's facial expressions did remind me of "Partying...". This episode had as much hype as "Partying....", in my opinion...and I felt it met my expectations.
And, yeah.....no Wilt, Coco, or Eduardo....that's a first.

- Thank you for playing the 'Misunderstanding' card! Frankie gives Mac a 'thank you' kiss, and he goes and blows it out of proportion!
- I have to agree... Bloo is a nut! How he fell in love over Frankie's first outfit, how he stole her kiss to Mac, how he led the crew of 'losers' to derail each successive suitor's shot at Frankie. Just like last week, it's Bloo at his best!
- 'Futurpoup' = name of restaurant. Am I missing some sort of reference here?
- Prissy... eh, Princey, didn't just carry Frankie into the women's bathroom, did he? :o
- Playing the 'Trying to Score' card doesn't work if you blurt out you're playing it! Dylan definitely got what he deserved... calling Frankie his property! ("Yeah, she's our property!" - Bloo)
- Frankie... well, enough said, right?
Now Foster's is back in the groove it was in Season 1! Two great back-to-back episodes this week and last. "Frankie My Dear" scores a high-end 8!

I'm gonna have to agree with One Radical Dude here, this may be my new favorite episode. Completley halarious! It was good to see poor Frankie have a social life for once.
The high points of the episode:
-Bloo "stealing a kiss" and Mac still being mad about it the next day
-Bloo thinking he was more likely to win Frankie even though he's younger and not even human
-The prince's really bad metaphores in his pick up lines
-The whole resteraraunt scene
Oh and from what I saw, I think the prince carried Frankie into the men's room.:p

This was so...so awesome!
And HOT!
Perfect episode, even without Wilt, Eduardo, and Coco. Not a misstep anywhere. Fantastic. Now who voted F?!
Futurpoup = "future poop." What you're eating now is....

Anyway, I give this an "A".

Gotta give this one an A-. Truly the best episode of Foster's this season. Frankie's innocent little thank you got blown out of proportion and snowballed into a huge mess. The prince was interesting, especially when he kept stroking Frankie's hand at the table. I also liked Frankie's date turning out to be a mean guy. And her consequently beating him up.
My only complaint was that a few of the jokes namely the "except for Mac" and Blue's "pull together speeches" got a little played out. That's pretty much the only think keeping this episode from an A+.
So is this going to be a continuing plot thread in the series now?

I've got to agree with almost everyone else--this was a very hilarious episode, and Frankie was indeed hot, especially in that little black dress. ;) The only thing is, how come Prince Charming had everyone praising his pick-up lines when those are the kind of lines that get Johnny Bravo a date with a can of mace?

I've been waiting for this episode ever since I read the synopsis on cartoonnnetwork.com. The dinner table scene made me laugh hysterically. Everything else was ok.

Yeah this was a great episode. Bloo trying to make up stuff in front of Frankie that he dumped her last week and all that was pretty funny too. :p

Probably Out Of The Episodes That aired so far, this is one of my faves. Hell, I'm putting it up there with "Store Wars" as my favorite Foster's episode. There was just so much to love about this episode. First off, Frankie is really a cool character, so it's good to see an episode focused on her somewhat (and also showing that we don't need Wilt, Coco or Edwardo in an episode if there isn't need for them to be in it. I hope the same could be said for Mac and Bloo at some point). Also the various dating antics that were going on. At first when I heard about the plot I thought it would be one of those "We think this girl likes us so let's sabotage the other guy" plot, which it is but they just add more characters into the little group it seems a lot more original then the average time the plot's used, which is good.
Best Moments: Mac's Filing Skills, Fighting With Bloo for the blown kiss, teaming up to throw paper at the pizza guy, the Pizza Guy (named Chris) joining up when Prince Charming came, Prince Charming joining up when Frankie's real date Dylan came, the entire resturant sequence (espically Bloo ranting about "meeting Frankie" as Orlando Bloom and Frankie kicking at the Pizza Guy's legs) and the ending.
GRADE: 4.5 Stars Out of 5.

I watched it again this morning and was a little surprised to hear a "boing" sound effect during the kiss. I guess I'm thinking this is dirty because it's used on the morning drive show I listen to refer to something else....
Eating the steak deserves mention too. "I will now eat the delicious food that is on the plate in front of me. Obviously I cannot eat a steak with a spoon. Good, I have a fork. To your left...your other left...."

This was pretty funny. I love how Blue said he made his gazillions in the paddleball industry. And Frankie giving her date an atomic wedgie, that's hilarious. I give it an A.

Wow, I'm not really a fan of Foster's, but this episode was downright hilarious, especially the restaurant scene. Really terrific.

Isn't he that guy off Disney something. Dylan was suprisingly strong for a pretty boy, I'll say that much, though clearly nowhere as strong as Frankie. Frankie 22, thats's alot older than I gave her credit for. I thought she was 16-ish. But when she was in casual clothes, I was more ready to believe that when she was in casual clothes. Yeah I just caught this episode on its umpteenth rerun.

Mac and Bloo were so cute crushing on Frankie and I gotta agree with Bloo when she came out in that dress, HOSE HER DOWN 'CAUSE SHE'S HOT!
BTW, does anyone per chance have pics of Frankie in that dress? And maybe the dress she wore at her date?

WoW, This was the funniest show ever. I especially like the guy admiting he was playing "mister nice guy" just to get to Frankie and her catching him. "If I had a dime every time I heard that", she's had this problem with dates before?
WHAM, Frankie can really take care of herself. :D

The episode started out OK, but really took off in the restaurant scene with Orlando Bloo; it's the funniest thing the series has ever done (and that's saying something considering this is one of CN's funniest shows to begin with). I liked Dylan, and I think it would be cool if they brought him back for some reason (like he was trying to get back with Frankie).
My favorite thing about the episode, though, is the fact that we got to learn a little bit more about Frankie (her age, her background, even a little bit about her love life). She's not just some maid who's only there cause she's related to the owner; she's really becoming a developed character (almost as much as Mac and Bloo). Hopefully think is becoming a trend.

Seeing as I haven't posted here in awhile, you might have forgot me, but this episode made me want to post here (Late, but still...). Frankie was hot, and the restaraunt was hilarious, better than the Homestar Runner reference! Let's hope for triple hits!

I barely remember your name, Z.
There definitely was a lot to like about this episode. I'm hoping for a new episode in April, but as of right now, it'll be a quiet month for Foster's.

Am I the only complete perv whose head was invaded with strange thoughts when Prince arrived? What little girl dreamed him up, and to what end? Do little boys dream up imaginary women? Is there a cut off age for when you can create an imaginary friend? And on and on and on...
Aside from that, funny episode. I loved them throwing the paper at the pizza guy. And Frankie is the same age as me, awesome.

This was actually the first time I had sat and watched a full episode of Foster's. It hadn't looked like anything that would be all that interesting... but I guess I should have had more faith in CN than that. Anyway, it looks like I picked a pretty good episode to introduce myself to the show. Not as good as some of McCracken's previous work, but still it appears to be one of the best currently running shows on CN at the moment.
