Cow & Chicken "Buffalo Gals" Did it deserve to be banned?

I've only seen a clip and read the synopsis, but I don't see the big deal.

Children aren't going to understand those jokes.

They'd might as well ban that episode where Red Guy is using the alias Lance Sackless.

Ummm, care to elaborate a little more as to why the episode was banned? I'm afraid I don't follow.

An all-female biker gang called the Buffalo Gals break into Cow & Chicken's house.

What the Bufallo Gals do is break into people's houses and chew on their carpet. Literally.

It was banned for the jokes about lesbianism.

Whoa. That's insane. I really can't tell how bad it was from the synopsis, but I can see why it would get banned.

Well, IMHO, the whole series should not only be banned, but it should be buried in the deepest pit available, the earth should be salted so nothing can grow on it, and they should bring in a shaman to curse the whole area.


But, I understand some people somehow like the show, so I GUESS they could air that one.

They also should have banned the episode where everyone thought Chicken was a girl. Those two boys went on a date with a Chicken and holded hands in a movie threatre. That was a boarderline homo too.

Well it was okay because Chicken was potrayed like a Girl, which I guess made it okay for him to be dating Flem and Earl (the two boys) and stuff like that. It wasn't as risque as something as direct as the bike leader having a crush on Cow (which is also what I heard about the episode) and wanting her to join the gang. That's direct lesbianism refrences, which didn't really slide for CN.

Anyway, there's no way it's airing on CN now. Even if it was okay to show, CN is pretty done with Cow And Chicken. I mean, you might see it on a C&C DVD (if THAT ever gets made) but otherwise you should forget about it.

It was indeed a strange show :-S They seemed to have some sort of fetish with butts, as you couldn't look at the screen without seeing one.

Yeah, that show was all kinds of wrong. Gay references, butts, messing up molting of birds (I have one with me right now. Unless it's the French "molt" (A disease, not a molt.), when birds molt, feathers immidietly grow back.), so I cannot believe I actually LIKED it, but I was a kid then...

If that episode had made reference to oral sex than maybe it would've been.
