1. How often do The Detective Conan Manga Volumes come out in Japan?

2. Any chance Case Closed will become monthly (As opposed to Bimonthly)?

1. The graphic novels/tankoubons are currently roughly quarterly. (From a fansite: #48 was Jan. 14, #49 will be Apr. 6)

2. No idea.

In case you're wondering, no, we won't ever catch up to the Japanese releases in any reasonable fashion.

Could be worse, though. Look at Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. Only the mutated zombie corpses of the future apocalypse of the year 40XX will be somewhat caught up to the Japanese release of that one.

As I know, DC is no longer on Adult Swim. The manga is still going on in Japan.

Well, it is possible that we could catch up with the manga in Japan if they only release 4 volumes a year and we release 6, btu chance are the series will end before that happens.

It's much the same with the Anime and it's 300+ episodes. Since FUNi only releases 3 episodes every 6 to 8 weeks, then we won't catch up with there 52 episodes a year.
