You guys definitely have me looking forward to the next batch of Clone Wars episodes, and I'm not even a big Star Wars fan!

I might even buy the Season One DVD, even!

But something's been bothering me ever since Episode One: How did Anakin get that metal hand, anyway?

Count Dooku cut off Anni's hand, and it was replaced with this gold skeletal hand (since I guess realistic-looking hands weren't invented in this universe at the time) so he could fight

Trust me, it's excellent. Seriously, it's got some of the finest animation ever produced for tv in the modern era, and if Gennedy plays it right, it'll be the most outstanding piece of storytelling in his career to date. It really does seem like a movie this time around. Genndy's over due in getting a more dramatic movie (Ego Trip was still basically a comedy, and it wasn't fully showcasing his directorial talent. Clone Wars will raise the bar for dramatic animation produced in America period I think.)

Whoa! I'm a huge fan of Genndy's Clone Wars, but to say they could be his greatest story telling achievement is a stretch considering his Samurai Jack saga.

It may be gone, but it is not forgotten.

He'll be sporting an improved version in ROTS, a fact reflected by these new CW eps

I'm looking forward to this. I was a bit worried that this was just the Lucas empire once again milking an idea to death but it sounds like these new episodes are gonna be pretty good.

I can't wait until the premiere of the Second Season to this show! Just to think that my mom's friend knows Genndy Tartakovsky.

I think it has the potential to be better than SJ, if only because he's going to be a telling a long form story that actually isn't purely/hyper-heavily visual. He's got 60 minutes in which he's got a relatively complete story to tell, and from what I've seen, he's intendeing to use it to it's best.

Granted, a SJ feature finale would top it. 90 minutes of raw Tartokovsky direction would be intense.

I can't wait for this to come out. I only wish they would have released the series 1 dvd this week so I could have caught up, but oh well.

It made sense to leave the second season where it ended. Episode III is suppose to pick up with the invasion of Coruscant and Anakin going after Grievious. I really thought Clone Wars had messed up by starting the attack on Coruscant, but now that it has ended it makes sense.
