Was the show only 4 seasons or are they going to continue it? I hope they do

There'll be more...many...many..more. Its William Street's most successful original, there's no way they'd cap it now a the height of its success. I guess they've also got a movie in the works as well, so you've got nothing to dread of a ATHF-less future. Atleast the near future.

New episodes are currently/going to be in production. Can't remember how many/when they'll air.

There'll be more, Aqua Teen is one of Adult Swim's big money makers. I remember reading that they're making at least 10 more episodes and like Discloner said a movie appears to be in the works.

I think Aqua Teen is the the last show they'd cancel.

No way. It's not over. That little "ATHF Cancellation" thing was just a mean little trick from WS. It has already been confirmed that new episodes are in production for this year, and they're making a movie, as well. This show's still going as strong as ever.

ATHF is hilarious in quick, 15-minute segments... but how do you make an entire movie out of it???

Not to mention it is now topping out at over a million viewers on the weekday strip and it's almost a foregone conclusion that it will continue. ATHF, in terms of AS originals, is certainly Williams Street flagship property.

When ATHF taglines get constantly quoted in unexpected places like the ESPN Sportscenter, then you know the mainstream understands where those came from.

I'm curious to see how the new season pans out. While the show is funny, it seems like last season, and more specificly the "Frat Aliens" episode, they are taking the same concept and introducing new characters under the same formats like "What wacky new pair of aliens will annoy Frylock this Week?". They just need to stop blatantly repeating themself with the exception of the Cybernetic Ghost... I like him.

Uh............. no. They didn't really do much, if any of that in Season 4.
"Video Oujia" - Only new character introduced is Billie the Witch Doctor at the end who Frylock called to try and revive shake.
"Unremarkable Voyage" - No new characters.
"Remoonded" - Return Of The Moonites
"Gee Whiz" - Special guest appearence of Ted Nugget at the end.
"E-Dork" - No new characters.
"Little Brittle" - Return of MC Pee Pants as an old man.
"Robositter" -Robotic babysitter and friend created. Frylock created Robositter to babysitt Meatwad, friend created by Robositter to help her out.
"Moon Master" - Return Of The Moonites... again.
"Dusty Gongalzes" - Stripper Dusty Gongalzes called to help fix a gas leak and then later Carl and Shake tried to have they're way with her. Wrench aliens appeared only at the end.
"Diet" - No new characters, except the parasite at the very end.
"T-Shirt Of The Living Dead" - Apparences by Santa claus and Easter bunny, using Meatwad's T-Shirt magic.
"Hypno-Germ" - Beans and Germs take up a huge part of the episode with they're little play.
"Carl" - Various woman callers and a robot, but no real aliens to speak of.
Just wanted to make clear about that Tzomisx.

Sorry about that. It's not a matter of knowing my stuff more then I just usually don't.... look back and spellcheck/correct my posts most of the time.
Back on topic, ATHF is defintley still running strong. The episode order for Season 5 so far is 10, which either means that there will be more or the movie will count for the remaining episodes of the season. And I still think an ATHF moive could work. Although this does lead up to the discussion of some cartoon shows not doing as well ratings wise or production wise after they're movie (Beavis And Butthead, the Powerpuff Girls, Hey Arnold).

IMO, it's better to burn out than to fade away.

Nope, Williams Street wouldn't cancel ATHF anytime soon. Currently the show is in rerun mode and the DVDs are selling.
It's very unlikely that Adult Swim would cancel AT. I wonder if they're planning on making new characters in the upcoming episodes.
