Totally Spies "Escape from WOOHP Island" Talkback(SPOILERS)

Since nobody has made a talkback yet, I guess I'll do it. So uh, you know...talkback.

This was another one of those rare opportunities when I got to see the Sunday premiere as opposed to the Miguzi encore the following Friday. This was one of the most, if not the most, anticipated third season episode, and because...

- Brittany returns (she first appeared in last season's "Alex Quits") and she's just as I remembed her. She's got a mix of each of the girls' star qualities: Sam's smarts, Alex's athleticism, and Clover's fashion savvy. Maybe too much... she could easily be characterized as a 'Mary Sue' type personality. (On an added note, confirming WOOHP agents work in threes... Brittany showing off pics of her teammates, Dimitri and Javier.)
- If you're going to be a major-time villain, avoid being sent to a high-security prison on a remote island. 'Cause if for some reason the security system goes down, that 'blow up the island' back-up is a killer! ;)
- Speaking of major-time villains, interesting choice of bad guys. A mad plastic surgeon, a Daredevil-like alien, and (the return of?) that guy who wants to slow the world down 'cause it goes too fast for him.
- This ep's B-plot: Clover makes her own cosmetics and has Sam and Alex test them out... costing them an arm and leg, and some nasty side effects, to do so.

I'll give it an 8. Better than last week's, that's for sure.

Anyway, I actually enjoyed this ep.:) I loved seeing Brittany again.:anime: :D She's gorgeous and she's got some fantastic action moves!:D

Also, I think Clover definately got hers when she wouldn't give Sam & Alex a refund on those faulty cosmetics.:p She may be an airhead sometimes....but I still love her.:anime:

I also enjoyed when the girls were drooling over Brittany's teammates.:D Not too bad looking dudes for you, Brittany!;)

I gotta give this ep 4 stars. It was really great to see Brittany in action again!:D :D :D

Definitely one of the better season 3 episodes. Who is Brittany's new VA? I like her.

You'd think if the spies were being sent to an island full of super-criminals, they'd be given at least one lethal weapon. That alien reminded me of the Lizard.

So spy teams are co-ed, huh? I'll be darned. We've never actually seen any guy spies(well, not the type that have brightly colored outfits).

1. Since they had the lasers, why didn't the Spies just free themselves off the net boobytrap? :shrug:

2. OK, two: who'd still kiss Sam or Alex even with those skin problems? Not those Brittney WOOHP partners at the company picnic.

BOB (Brain Over Brawn) at Moscow wears normal street clothes. There's no such thing as a "valley boy" - the counterpart is "surfer dude."

I thought this ep was okay... im enjoying some of the action scenes.. and that returning villain scares me soo much when he runs. :shrug: Hehe, it was a good ep. "Scam Camp" is tonight! We get to see Alex and her skateboarding!

What did ever happen to David, anyway? The girls (and Mandy) were always constantly after him... did they run out of situations to use him in already? Or maybe keeping all the girls single was the only way they'd actually get guys to keep watching the show... if you know what I mean. ;)

Now that Britney is back, I wonder if she'll be all over him like wax like Clover, Sam and Alex, IF they make her interested in him.

After seeing Brit back in full form in this episode, I sure do hope that she'll be back SOON. :D
