Thats right, it's the one day a year where we honor everyone's favorite Polish revolutionary war general! Not only that, but many public schools in the Chicago area get the day off! Too bad hardly anyone even knows who poor Mr. Pulaski is... share your Kashmir Pulaski-related comments in this post!

Hmm, I have never heard of such a thing. I mean, I know of Pulaski (awesome man) but I never heard of him having a day.

Well nonetheless . . . Happy Pulaski Day!

share your Kashmir Pulaski-related comments in this post! I remember that time me and Pulaski went golfing. That was a blast. I remember the time me and Pulaski met in college. We became great friends; we would hang out all the time. People would point and say, “Hey look at those two. Those guys are so much fun, they are going to be pals forever.” But that didn’t happen. Pulaski started changing and hanging out with a different crew. I remember the first time I noticed something was wrong. I kept on getting Pulaski’s answering machine. Pulaski would never call me back. Then things got really bad. I called Pulaski one Saturday to see about going to the local sports bar and watch the game. I was calling from a pay phone. No answer at first. Pulaski probably didn’t recognize the number. Finally, Pulaski picked up, but wasn’t feeling well. So I called a couple of my other buddies and went down to get some food and watch the game. Guess who I saw? That’s right, Pulaski, man was that awkward. Pulaski was hanging out with some strange people. I heard their conversation. It was about oil or something. I couldn’t hear that well because it was loud in there. Whatever it was, they didn’t want me to hear about it. I just walked right out of the sports bar and went home. It was a tough way to end a long friendship.

Now Pulaski is talking a bunch of smack about me. It used to upset me, not anymore. I hear it all the time. I just hope Pulaski thinks about the stuff he is saying. I wonder if Pulaski really means it. I hope Pulaski can back it up. This could just be a phase. I have seen Pulaski do it before. Acts like I am a pain or in the way. But sure enough, some bully shows up and starts to mess with Pulaski. Of course, I get a call from Pulaski begging me to go and help him out. At first, I am like, “no way man, you do this all the time. You are going to have to get yourself out of this one.” But in the end I always go and help. Pulaski is grateful for a short time, but soon forgets. Then we go through it all over again. I hope that is what Pulaski is doing now. It has never been this bad.

There are some rough characters out there. Believe me, I know. I got sucker-punched once when I wasn’t looking. I won’t let that happen again. I am not one to start a fight, but if one comes my way I am not going to back down. There are some differences between me and Pulaski. Pulaski wants to be popular with everyone; Pulaski will do anything to be cool. I like to be myself. Another difference is that Pulaski will say one thing to me and then go and say something different to somebody else. I think actions speak louder than words. Maybe Pulaski will figure that out one day. Until then, I will have to deal with all this complaining. That’s okay, I can handle it. For now I will continue to endure the ridicule. Pulaski sure can’t.

My first home was on Pulaski Avenue. I just thought that everyone here would be interested to know that.

The Frog, you've made my day! I woke up this morning and my Futurama calendar told me it was Pulaski Day. I was wondering what it was but too lazy to look it up. Thanks for sharing the info.
