Hey, congrats ;) My driving teacher told me, way back when, I was the best parallel parker in the class. Too bad I never actually put it to use.

Congrats, it took me like 4 times before I past my test. There were times when I just got so frustrated that I didn't think I'd ever do it.

If you're in a big city, that's the only way ya gonna park. Due to that, I could pretty much do a tight space in 2 secs with my eyes closed now. [/hyperbole] :D

Congrats! Speaking of driving, I've finally been insured to drive. I've had my license since last August, but my father has refused to insure me. But I'm finally insured and driving to school, softball, the mall, and etc... It's exciting to finally get to drive on my own.:D

when does anyone ever parallel park? I actually have parallel parked a few times at Weight Watcher meetings.

Congratualtions! Learning to drive is a big responsibility. I remember when I first received my driver's liscence.

Congratulations... from someone who got his license shortly before heading off to college (which was 12 years ago). Just make sure to remember to get it renewed (and have money for the renewal fee). :-)

I prefer getting into open spots when there's not many cars around, as confident as I am in driving I can't help but fear that I'll mess someone's car up.

I'm close to 25 and I don't have my permit yet.

I DON'T WANT IT, EITHER!!

Congrats, good luck, be careful. Some crazy girl tried to kill me the other night by waiting till I was on top of her then deciding she could still make it out, pulled out in front of me, I was doing 50. Used up a lot of luck just then.

Congrats! I just got my learner's permit back in December. I'm not that good of a driver though.

Pfft they don't teach eveything there though...

Like how to avoid jackasses and their ricers that go 90 mph in a 45 mph zone...

that was a fun experiance....in almost wrecking my car by being run off the road..

Also people beep their horns too much, really I hardly ever beep mine when I drive, and when i drive I usualy drive for hours...

Congratulations, BBF! Driving brings an entirely new sense of freedom. Remember to drive carefully, take good care of your automobile, stop for pedestrains, let other people in, and use an air freshener. Also, be sure to pick up a bumper sticker reflecting your political leanings of choice.

And if your dad starts saying that you driving is scary, just remember that he is probably saying it all in jest. He does it with me all of the time.
