Tommorrow I'm heading over to University of Colorado in Colorado Springs (UCCS) where I will get an interview for an internship into Disney college in Orlando. I'm really nervous and I hope it goes well. so please wish me luck and pray that I get in because I really think this is what I need to get into.

Okay I am back from the interview and lets just say that I think my brain died right when I went through those doors. Here is what happened

The lady who interviewed me also interviewed someone else with me so there were two people being interviewed at the same time. Now I thought that was just the stupidest thing because I did not feel comfortable at all talking to the person interviewing me because there was someone else listening to what I had to say and she had better speaking skills then I did and talked much more than I did so I knew that after the second question I was dead.

The interviewer also asked me really wierd questions that seemed to have the same answer to them and just did not sound fit for an interview. I was hopign she would ask why would I want to join Disney college but instead one of the questions she asked was "Why is it so important to join in the fall?" or something to that effect, it just did not sound right to me.

So yeah I'm sensing that I failed the interview but thanks everyone for all the nice comments. now its time to spend another semester at the community college.

My cousin got an internship at Walt Disney World a year ago. He put down on his job people who most likely turn down a job which is janitorial work. He did very good there. One time he had to help someone get for point A to point B and it was the Walt Disney World President's daughter. He got a letter back and was hung up on the wall because they never got a letter from the Walt Disney World's President before from that sector.

They kind of threw you a curve ball in the interview.
Having someone else there that's up for the same position must be one of those interviewer games you must have to go to a special school to learn.

It might not have gone as bad as you thought.
Interviews usually suck and seem to have nothing to do with what your interviewing for.

Well I got a package from disney college today and guess what. I am now accepted into Disney college. I will be a food and beverage worker and I start sometime in the fall. :D

Oh I guess I never really explained it huh? Well Disney College is really more of an internship. You go down to Orlando where you take up to three classes and work 40 hours a week somewhere in Disney world.
YOu get an apartment that has 1 to 4 bedrooms and 2 to 8 people live in these apartments, they come equiped with furniture, silverware, microwave, stuff like that and the place takes the rent out of your salary which is nice and you get to have pool parties and stuff and unlimited access to the theme parks. Also your family gets in for half price and only has to pay half price for the hotel they stay at.

Yup that about sums it up.
