it was a show of nickolodeon, and, in my opinion, the best show ever if you want to see it on again, then copy and paste this link: http://cgi.gamefaqs.com/boards/genmessage.asp?board=28&topic=1752829 and tell me if you do! You have to register to and register first, though. Please! By the way, I'm the chameleon!

You're the Chameleon? Cool? Seen Spiderman lately? :D
I remember Rocko's Modern Life. Why they don't treat it properly is beyond me (then again, A! and PatB and F! aren't treated so well either.....)

Lamest episode: The one where nude footage of Rocko is turned into an avant-garde film. Rocko doesn't even have any genitalia to begin with...so what in the name of Unholy Murder are the black bars being used for?
Sincerely,
John "Captain Caps" Kilduff

Ahhh Rocko...it was only the greatest show ever...ahahaha...ah......why'd you leave us?? WHY??
BTW, anyone ever notice, The Drew Carry Show is a big Rocko Rip Off!?!!?!!

Captain Caps - Are you nuts?! That's one of the funniest episodes. The lamest is "With Friends Like These...", where Rocko inadvertantly wins two tickets to a wrestling match that Heffer and Filburt wanted to win. They soon hound him mercilessly for the tix. Too bad it never occured to Rocko to just give the tix to the goofballs and let him be.
JustJack - How exactly did "The Drew Carey Show" rip-off "Rocko's Modern Life"? (And comparing Lewis and Oswald to Heffer and Filburt doesn't count in the slightest; they're like apples and oranges).

Oh, fishsticks. Great show, need to be put in reruns. I have whole months where I feel like Ed Bighead.

I still even have issues of the comic book Marvel put out!
If VH1 is looking for something to air after they run thru their Ren and Stimpy episodes, I hope they pick this one for that time slot!

It was the best show in America because it did not have an episode that was below-average. Even "With Friends Like These" was a good episode, just not as good as the others. There was not really any dud in the entire run.

Yeah, I used to watch Rocko. It wasn't my favorite, but it was really funny!

Damned funny show in my opinion. I was glad to see Nick show reruns in the summer.

Oh, heck, it's a pity had to be thrown off. The best eppy BY FAR was when Ed Bighead realized he was OLD...the comparisons between '65 and '95 (around that extent) was gold! :D
Probably any time Filbert comes in is second best..."it was horrible. He kept saying 'fishsticks! fishsticks!' FFIISSSHHSSTTIICCKKKSSSS!"

--figure out why one of Hutch and Fil's kids looked like Heffer. What the devil were the writers implying?
Not to mention Dr. Hutchinson's hook hand. Creepy, yet oddly seductive, like a piercing in an intimate area.
And of course my favorite part was Charlie Adler, with his customary great vocal energy. "Get out of my salmon bushes!"

SAID BY DR. BELCH:--figure out why one of Hutch and Fil's kids looked like Heffer. What the devil were the writers implying?
I think a kid became a Heff because Heffer sat on the egg containing the kiddies...it'd be scary for science to explain how the butt affects genetics....(shudders)
Wait, new fave eppy...THE SPRING CLEANING ONE!! That was wonderful...and I actually learned from it too! :D

My favorite---and it will always be my favorite---is the one where Rocko needs to get a job. This is the one with the different kinds of gum.... :D

I think my favorite is the one where Rocko racks himself at the roller rink trying to impress Sheila. But there are so many good ones to choose from: the skiing episode, the one where Heffer learns he's adopted, the marriage of Filbert and Hutch, Filb's trip to the Kerplopitgoes Islands, the hypnosis episode ("Ha ha ha! X-RAY SPECS!"), the Chameleon Bros.' coffee, the Magic Meatball. Can't remember the plot, but I still love the exchange between Filbert and the woman who keeps calling him up to say "Hi!"
"QUIT CALLIN' HERE!"
"You're mean!" (Pokes his eyes across the split screen.)

Scratch that. Peaches' two episodes were funniest. And maybe the road trip to nose-shaped waterfall.

Theres so many things I loved about this show. There was actual character development and a little depth in between the wackiness and the occasional rather shockingly adult jokes.I wouldnt even be able to come up with a favorite episode...being obsessed with biology, namely, entomology and parasitology,my favorite episodes would have to include the onces focusing on Flecko (the fly) and Bloaty & Squirmy. The same applies to the episodes where rocko saves the bighead`s bugs and where heiffer lives in the chewy(chokey) chicken and gets a cockroach problem (the first roach REALLY reminds me of Lionel Hutz from the simpsons, now that I think about it)
I also loved the whole concept behind a main character marrying a reccuring background character.I insist that Filbert and Hutch are the cutest talking animals of any talking animal cartoon.
...Oh,and does anyone have the slightest idea what the Slug`s name was? He was another reccuring character...he didnt talk much, but he was always something sleazy. He was pale blue with a slime-dripping tail and eyestalks,so i`m pretty sure he was a slug, and I could have sworn he had a name...

My Favorite episode was were Rocko went to get his car back and had to take that driving test.
"I hope you don't get the Fat Guy."

My mom even loved it, and she doesn't like any animation.

Ah, yes. Who could forget good ol' Peaches and his paddleball? Scared the heck out of me, the first time he took off his mask, with the milk squirting out of those thingies on top of his head...what was that, milk? Looked like milk...Anyway, as life went on, I began to realize that this guy wasn't scary. Heck, he was one of the funniest characters in the series! And that, my friends, was the beginning of my insanity. :D

Great cartoon. My favorite was the "suckomatic", a huge vaccuum cleaner that sucked up everything in the house. I also enjoyed the one where Rocko and Spunky went to the beach.
