I just picked up Family Guy's The Freakin' Sweet Collection, and it was a pretty good 15 bucks well spent. It was great for the episodes, but the info on American Dad and Fam Guy season 4 was the best. I think that American Dad won't be the humor filled power house that Family Guy is, but from what was on the DVD, it seems to me that they have assembled some pretty good characters. It all balances out. You have an extreme right wing dad, and a very liberal daughter that will be great for the political side of the show. I just hope that the show isn't TOO political. In short, I think that it will be a great show, and season 4 of Family Guy will be KICK ASS.
P.S. 200th post!!!!!!!

This is sort of OT, but anybody know who will do the animation for American Dad and the new Family Guys? Will it be Grimsaem/Yeson/Rough Draft again, or is Seth MacFarlane going to use something like Flash? Didn't the Adult Swim board have a discussion a year or so ago about the fact that Family Guy could be done in Flash and look just as good as the original episodes except it would be cheaper? Or did I dream that...

What did they say about the fourth season? I take it they probably did not show any clips from it, all I know so far are the episode titles.

Any show can be done in flash if it's traditional animation. Flash isn't just some cheep program.
Anyway, when's the official date that American dad is supposed to come out?

That was just speculative discussion before it was known that FOX would renew the series. At the time folks were rationalizing that Flash might be a way to cut production costs (as well as a few other cutbacks) so that WS could actually afford to produce the series.
As far as I know the previous animators are coming back on board.

Haven't picked up the DVD or catch the sneak preview for American Dad online. Lets just hope this doesn't turn into a "Bush=Hitler" political mess. That or a very bland representation of both parties.
