It's 10:47pm EST here. Yep, another New Year's Eve with nothing to do. :( And there's not much tonight to do in downtown Raleigh, since most of the big shows are sold out. All that's left is - ugh - the acorn drop at midnight.

I know, it is really ridiculous to have a giant acorn drop in downtown. Why can't we have a ball of our own anyway?
