ATHF commercials on ESPN

Has anyone besides me seen the ATHF commercials airing on ESPN currently? This is the first time that I have seen a commercial for ATHF that wasn't on Cartoon Network. ESPN is airing the commercials that are on ATHF Vol.3 DVD. Just wondering if anyone else saw them.

Those were probably part of a COB, which is not actually part of the "official" commercial break. Was the audio and visual quality of the ATHF commercials worse than the other commercials?

I've seen one on ESPN, SpikeTV, and G4TechTV. I can almost bet that they're also shown on TNT and TBS, being part of Turner and all.

Is it the old guy singing the themesong? If so, and it lists your cable company and what channel it's on, you're seeing a COB.

No the commercials I saw were the ones from ATHF Vol. 3 DVD. I've seen the one where Carl is imitating one of his favorite rock band's drummer and the one where Shake is rapping about nothing, if you can call what he was doing rapping. They were tinted green for some reason. Also, what is a cob?

I can't remember what the acronym stands for, but a COB is a commercial placed by your local provider during the national commercial times.

Also, I did notice the green tint the last time I saw the ATHF commercial. I thought my TV wasn't degaussing for a minute.

Yeah I have Direct tv, so you think that they could put it on there? I mean I haven't seen them on any other channel. Or is WS expanding to other channels for advertisement?

In the short time that my sister had Direct TV, there were COB's too, usually advertising their PPV content or the "User's Guide". :rolleyes:

I've seen the New ATHF commericals also, featuring: an Old Guy in Tux, 2 Vegas Girls, and he is singing the ATHF theme song.
