I think it has more to due with the fact that they were worried about pissing off fans. A lot of anime fans complain about americanized versions of anime. Most shows don't have 2 diffrent dubbed versions, Super Milk-Chan of course does. So they went with the one that was closest to the Japanese version while having it in a language their viewers can understand.

Yeah that would be alot of edits if they were to air that one. Couldn't they have made a dub that was in between? I mean they made a straight dub, which sucks, and an Americanized dub that has offensive language that prevents it from being shown on AS without edits. It seems to me that they could have made a dub that was specifically aimed at the restrictions of network television.

Despite this dub being better, it does begin to wear thin as the overall dullness of the formulaic episodes continue. Soon they begin to rely on excess swears and concept humor to maintain interest, and concept humor isn't funny IMO. Megas XLR is full of it.

Well, that was funnier or at least as funny as a whole episode. Granted the cursing would get old after awhile. I'm mean, sheesh, AS had some cursing, went overboard, and then the actual past year they've cut down enough so there isn't a bleep evey line or two of dialogue.

Also brings up another question: While adding cursing and American references makes it funnier, would it still make-up for its slow, akward pace and a formula that's exactly the same thing plot each episode with a different mission? I mean, they may have to go Duel Masters style here and change some of the plot to make it actually GOOD.

Bleep ahoy! I'm pretty sure that the current BS&P rep didn't want to push the button that many times.

Except ADV already had made an edit version (bleeped) of the Americanized dub so this arguement is entirely invalid.

Well it could be something along the lines of them thinking that all the bleeping would subtract from the show.

That makes no sense, as South Park has proven that bleeping makes things funnier. How expensive could bleeping things be anyway?

"Who do you think was the better hitter Sosa or McGuire? I liked McGuire"

That's funny because we all know Sosa is the superior hitter
