Basketball

How many here play basketball with their friends(or on a team) or follow the sport? I play with my friends out in the park and follow the NBA and college basketball closely. I'm not good enough to be on a team though.:sweat:

i wish i could play. now that ive joined the Y, i think im going to dedicate some time to learning to shoot again. i used to know how, but the last time i played pickup ball i looked like an ass, so....

I like to shoot around a bit, but I've never gotten serious about playing. Don't have many opportunities to play, either.

As for following the sport, I've been watching the NBA for around 15 years, which is unusual for a Canadian. I feel so alone sometimes. :p

Basketball used to be my favorite sport. I actually played in high school, but gave it up to focus in indoor track since I felt that helped me stay in better shape. Plus I wanted to keep my speed up for football. Nowadays I might shoot around with friends, but nothing too hardcore.

I sometimes follow the local pro-team (Timberwolves), but mostly only during the play offs.

I was not blessed with any athletic ability whatsoever. I cannot play any sport good, but I do enjoy playing basketball for fun, despite the fact I'm slow in running and reflexes, I can't dribble well, my shooting is horrendous, etc.

You get the picture. I'm like this in all sports.

I watch the NBA games pretty often and sometimes I watch college basketball. In terms of playing myself, I'm not good, but I can play defense.
