Its weird watching Home Movies Season 1 again. The characters look like they're shaking. Oh well. Its easy ignore it.

So far I got a necktie (the Japanese "I-can't-think-of-what-to-get-you" male gift), an AWESOME t-shirt from my host mom with a wind god on it (she also gave me a matching one with a thunder god for my little brother) and one of those stretchy winter cap things from my host sister to go with the scarf from last year.

Do we say what we gave people here as well? I got my dad a copy of "Wei Wei Wuu Plays Burt Bacharach," which is, yes, Burt Bacharach on the erhu, as well as a Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra CD since his Japanese jazz is all pretty antiquated. As you can tell from my sig I have "tested" that one to make sure it had no anthrax in it or anything.

I got my Mom earrings. It's an experiment to see if I can buy earrings or not. We'll see.

The brother is getting something from Comiket. And my sister is incredibly hard to buy for so I still have no idea what I'm going to do for her.

Ooh, I got some awesome stuff! I got a ton of earrings, tons of socks (I love socks), a Spider-Man hoodie, Spider-Man 2 DVD, Op. Ivy CD, a really cool Harry Potter coloring book (300 pages long!!!), a shirt that my sister airbrushed one of my favoritest sayings on (I am here to amuse others) it, and. . . . . all five HP books!!!!!! I'm so happy! Even without the presents, this was one of the best days I've had in a really long time. My sister came over really early this morning, and then her boyfriend came over and we hung out, then my other sister, her husband and my niece-y girl came over! It was a really awesome day! :anime:

Hmm, I got some really nice things this morning. From my mom I got two Japanese lanterns (they match the decorations in my room), a really cool pair of gloves, and she pre-ordered the HBP for me.. well, ok... she gave me a Barnes and Noble gift card and I went online and pre-ordered it... One of my grandmas sent a big box full of Avon stuff like lotion, lip gloss, and make-up. I love Avon, so I was really happy. Then she got me a scarf, hat, and gloves set that's really nice. My boss is a gamer geek and prides himself upon it. He's also a good guy that I get along with. He got presents for the whole department and since we'll be growing to four times our currrent size next year, this'll prolly be the last time he's able to splurge on us like he did.

In my interview and in conversations hence I mentioned that the Power Glove was my greatest Christmas present of all time. After all the hype, then seeing it on The Wizard, my mind was forever blown.... until I tried to use it. I don't care of it's a piece of junk, I love that thing.

Condition of everything bought seems to be pretty good. None of it's brand new, but none of it is scuffed either.

Since I've other more fun systems, I really haven't gotten around to busting out the NES to actually try and play it. Maybe for my birthday.

Anyway, that's how it works and that's how I scored the PG. Second biggest Christmas surprise of all time. :anime:

No gifts from friends (which is fine because it's not like I got anyone anything, mainly because I wouldn't know what to get for the most part, and because I was kinda broke until x-mas,) and my parents and my grandparents just gave me money. Total was 175 bucks, which I put in the bank (maybe I should get some late x-mas gifts. Not like I've got anything to spend the money anyway, atleast immediately.) Oh, now that I think about it, I guess you could count the bulk manga my mom for me at Costco today (volumes 1-3 of Tokyo Mew Mew for about 13 bucks + tax!) as an x-mas gift too (or my mom's just cool with my shoujo geek lifestyle. Either way is cool.) Not that shabby I suppose. :)

Note to Lightshadow1890: You hadn't had Pocky? I should send you and your sister out some of the variety of Pocky out here in Seattle (yay for anime stores, Asian confectionary stores and Asian supermarkets) for your birthday or something. Some of the more offbeat varieties are quite awesome, especially Pocky-G and Whipped Cream Mousse Pocky. I could probably eat that stuff until I get sick. (I guess I'm a strong proponent of Pocky :sweat:.)
